“Good cheap tacos. I didn't check out anything else on the menu unfortunately, but the lady is very quick. The tacos have a lot of flavor. They do what some places don't offer which is sauteed onions and grilled jalapenos. Tacos were dirt cheap for what you get ($1 plus tax), and the meat was very tender and tasted fresh. We got chicken, and fajita. I do want to make one comment, but wasn't a deal breaker by any means. We received more onions then we did cilantro on the side. Other than that. It was great.“

“As always-Absolutely delicious! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The tacos were packed with great ingredients, but the real standout was the queso (first time trying it) — it was basically liquid gold. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of spice without being too much. So good it will now become an addition to my regular order ( beef chimichuri , chicken tikka & guacamole)! The service was also excellent, friendly, attentive, and helpful. We really appreciated the recommendation to try the queso because it ended up being one of the best parts of the meal. Great food, great service, and definitely a place worth coming back to!“

“The best tacos ever! I brought my mom and brother here, and they agree!! I plan on bringing my girlfriend here as well!

We are here almost weekly! My order is usually the same (hence the similar photos), but the taste is always super flavorful no matter what day you visit. The salsas are amazing too! The service is top notch and the owner, Juan, is wonderful. Always happy and checking in to make sure everything is great.

The place is always tidy and presentable! Their restrooms are well taken care of as well.

The music selection is nice too. Classic and familiar Mexican/Tejano hits play at a volume enough to be able to talk to whoever you visit with and listen/song along.

They've only been here since early May, but you wouldn't tell from how great the quality is!

“Drove by this morning and decided to purchase some tacos. I ordered a steak/potato burrito and my daughter ordered the three taco platter. The customer service was 💯, the food the same. But I am only going to review what I was able to eat. The meatless food. Their tequeños are absolutely delicious! The crispy golden outside and warm, melty cheese inside made them nothing short of awesome! Especially when paired with their dipping sauce. 🧀 Next I tried their cachapa & it was amazing! The sweet corn flavor and soft, golden texture made it simple & delicious. They are filled with melty cheese, then they become the perfect balance of sweet and savory. 🌽 Lastly, I tried their plantains! Oh my goodness! Plantains are such a delicious treat! They were perfectly cooked: golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and naturally sweet. They made for a simple, comforting, and satisfying side dish! 🍌 Would I go back? Absolutely, yes! 💯“

The taco entrees were good but a bit pricey.

The quail taco was good and unique. I get that quail can be expensive for the amount of food you get.

I personally wasn’t a fan of the short rib/brussel sprout taco.

My wife’s taco bowl left something to be desired as far as portion and flavor. It was not bad, just not a $15+ plate of food.

“If you find gas stations with this taqueria Taxco, its a place to go and try. We have gone to about 2 places with this name. And they both have been great. I recommend the specials the al pastor tacos are a must, ask for extra crispy and yum. They do make a good sauce, the once had them in bottles but now they are in packets. I definitely recommend the tacos al pastor a 4.5 out of 5.“

“My order was to go. From the moment I walked in Luke behind the counter greeted me and let me know that if I had questions that I should ask him, which I did. “Best experience I've had in so long and it was at a mom and pop type of place. I was a little sketched because the owners of the corner store were there and weren't really friendly so I hesitated to go in but I was so meant to be there. The front counter corner store attendant was super friendly and helpful. He has a very calm demeanor and I think he does well being the face of the store. The taqueria is so perfect. There is accessible seating, plenty of good food options and a great portion of food is given. The food is delicious. The green salsa, salsa Verde, is so delicious, it's spicy as well but not to the point where you can't taste the salsa. PERFECTLY BLENDED! I would recommend 10 out of 10. As a vegetarian or someone who enjoys meat. This place has it all! And they are so nice, sweet, and friendly. Please be graceful with them. “Go here instead of a gas station or donut store for breakfast tacos/burritos. They are authentic and rich quality for the same price!

First of all, the wonderful lady and workers here are humble and very sweet people.

Second of all, this place is a hidden gem. It's a hole in the wall so don't go in expecting to find a luxurious interior but focus on the service and amazing food!!

The complimentary chips and salsas were a nice surprise. It used to be a given everywhere so it was nice to see!

We ordered x1 menudo, x2 potato/chorizo tacos, x2 chichharon tacos, x1 cachete (cheek) taco, x1 carnitas taco, and my personal favorite x1 sope with fajita.

Menudo - absolutely PACKED with rich, clean meat! It's not oily at all and fills you up quick. If you've been disappointed before by menudo , it was probably because the meat wasn't properly washed and clean which leaves a really weird oil taste that covers the inside of your mouth and makes it hard to enjoy. You need to try this on Saturday or Sunday. They also serve you hot, fresh tortillas made right there.

Chicharron tacos - not spicy so give them a try! They're only served very spicy usually at other places.

Chorizo - home made!! Yummy pieces of meat included.

Sope - I can't even remember the last time I was able to order a sope and they included tomato, much less avocado. 😍 this sope has everything a sope should have: a thick and supportive sope followed by a nice layer of beans, then warm fajita meat, refreshing lettuce, cold crumbled Mexican cheese, a drizzle of fresh crema, light tomato, and avocado. Perfect.

“I ordered the food on DoorDash before. Today I decided to pull up an order my favorite beef torta and fries to my surprise it was inside of a gas station. Now eating there already I knew the food was good but now I wanted to see what I was dealing with. Again I was shocked the store was clean. The walls had new Price signs on them and the floor was mopped and smelled clean. As they should , the kitchen was clean and the store was well kept you have to pay at the front counter in order to receive your food and you hand the receipt to a young lady behind the counter and they prepare greatness It is a must try

“We have gotten food here many times and we finally tried dining in. We were greeted right away. We ordered the Burrito Barbacoa and Burrito Carne Asada. Both were made perfectly. They have a green and red salsa. The green is mild and the red is spicy. Both taste great. The people behind the counter are very friendly and helpful. This place is open only from 7am to 6pm M-F and 7am to 4pm on Saturday and 7am to 3pm on Sunday. They are located inside a gas station. They do not have any drinks other than Horchata and Cantaloupe drinks. If you want a soda or bottle water you will need to go to the gas station side and buy the drink. Very good food and great people we will continue to frequent this place.“
