“I’m incredibly happy we found this place by accident! Cute atmosphere and exactly the kind of local small business my wife and I love to frequent and patron. We were promptly met we walked in with great customer service and willingness to help us reviewing the available options. We can’t wait to come back and try more of their selections. If you’re driving through Salado you have to give this place a stop!“

“The donuts and kolaches are SO GOOD!!! The owners are SO friendly!!I wanted to try somewhere other than the place further in town (where I stopped going), and I'm soooo glad I did! If you like, there are tables to sit and enjoy your breakfast. They have a drive-thru, but I would rather walk in, and there's plenty of parking to do that (it's next to a gas station).It was all so tasty, soft, and fresh.Everybody at work loved them.Will definitely return!“

“Stopped on the way back home to Temple from medical appt in Georgetown, mid morning. Our server , listed on receipt shows Tiffany G. Im not sure if she was the trainer or trainee. Both ladies were very nice and courteous. It made our dining experience so pleasant and positive. Service industry work can be tough. I hope their personalities persevere and they are always so positive with the customer service they provide. We wish them best and hope we find a reason to stop again. The lady cashing out customers wasnt so much nice or pleasant . She could learn from Tiffany G.

“Donuts at Daylight Donuts are always good, some days better than others. The difference is subtle enough to make it impractical to travel to another Donut shop.

I also like to support my local businesses and this one is consistent, clean and reliable enough to have earned my respect as my first choice.“

“Had the opportunity to visit this place recently. While the food was good as usual, my problem was with the server. First of all, his appearance was enough to make you want to gag. While I was seated, he stood partially behind me over my left shoulder, sweating profusely and dripping. He had uncovered hairy braids that gave the appearance of shedding onto my table. (We noticed most of the wait staff had uncovered long braids/extensions with the extreme possibility of shedding fly-away hair onto one's food). This is a public health risk! They need to cover their hair with plastic caps! or tie it up with something! Back to our server: Last but not least, his apron was filthy, covered with transfer food debris from the kitchen and from busting tables. He appeared to be stationed closest to the kitchen. That whole WAIT staff needs to be retrained in cleanliness, sanitization, and appearance for the public's safety and protection, as well as their own. We also noticed that some of the wait staff were lackadaisical and lounging at a certain table playing with their cell phones. Some even gathered in small groups of 2 or 3 and went outside to lounge. It seemed to be instantaneous and Not a scheduled break. Btw: the server in question that day was named DERIUS S. Hopefully, the entire situation above will be addressed. That is all! Period.
