This is one place where you wish you had not only the money, but the stomach room to buy everything in the display case. The Dessert items in there were amazing! Almost went into diabetic coma just looking at the items in the case! The peanut butter and regular flavored cannolis that we got were of good quality and taste. Once again Leah is the rock of Carlos Bakery! Always friendly, with a smile , and gives exemplary service! I will say she needs help. This is the third time visiting the bakery, with a line out the door., and only one baker. Leah is amazing always ... give her a raise! We ordered a chocolate cupcake, cannolis, and a mini cheesecake. The two ladies working that day were very friendly and nice. I can't recommend the cupcakes or cheesecake and the connolis were just OK, HEB makes much better. Considering how famous the bakery is and the price of the items, I really expected much more. There are many excellent bakeries in San Antonio so there is no reason to return to Carlo's.
