Chong's Korean Restaurant Reviews
Chong’s was phenomenal as usual. They always have 100 percent rating on sanitation and the food was great. I highly recommend and look forward to it every time I am in town.
I’m Korean and this place legitimately taste exactly the original version of the foods. No MSGs and clean taste. Reminded my grandma’s food ❤
I always get the LA Gal Bi, it's usually very tender, but last night the meat was SO tough, it was almost inedible. I was so disappointed, I was looking forward to my meal. I'm not sure what happened, but again the meat was so tough, I could only eat a few bites.
I really hope this was a one time occurrence.

Chong's Korean Restaurant is a small, quiet establishment owned by a kind older Korean lady, Miss Chong, who runs the place all on her own. Despite its unassuming location, the restaurant offers delicious and authentic Korean cuisine. The menu features dishes like galbi short ribs, beef bulgogi, and dumplings, which have been praised for their taste. The Pork Bento Box has also received positive feedback, with customers noting it is just as good as it was years ago. Although the restaurant's sign may not be visible, it is still easy to find. The restaurant offers take-out options, including bento boxes, making it a great place to support local businesses while enjoying authentic Korean food.
Customers appreciate Miss Chong's kindness, often noting her as the only worker in the restaurant. However, some reviews mention that the atmosphere could be improved, with complaints about the lack of air conditioning and the cleanliness of the fans. While some diners have expressed dissatisfaction with certain dishes and the service, others have enjoyed the authenticity of the food, highlighting items like the barbecue dog as amazing. Many express a desire to return, emphasizing that this is not a new school Korean BBQ fusion spot, but a place for genuine Korean meals, despite its "hole in the wall" reputation. Customers are advised to bring cash, as there may be issues with credit card transactions.
