I visited the Potranco/1604 store this trip. I Had a Medium New York Steamer Sub. The bread was very fresh, although I would say the meat was just average; it tasted more like lunch meat to me then authentically fresh sliced corned beef and pastrami. That having been said, the restaurant itself appeared to be pristinely clean, and the staff was very courteous. Firehouse Subs STILL has Subway beat hands down overall in my opinion. I'll definitely visit again.
Today I stopped in for a quick lunch at the Firehouse Subs on 1604. This was my very first time at this location, as the location on Babcock is closer to my job. I would like to highlight the amazing Customer Service of Charles, the manager and Luke, as well as the other associates upon my arrival.
