This is a typical greasy spoon restaurant, my favorite kind. Being new to the San Antonio area we were disappointed to see so few sit down restaurants that serve a good breakfast menu. Jim's does! Walking in we sometimes feel like we are in a senior center as many older adults eat here. Hey, we know what tastes good and we know what is affordable! I absolutely love their burger, it is flame grilled. Nobody does that, l love it, so Jim's and Burger King. And their onion rings are to die for. Thin crispy, like dad used to make. All their food has always been good, but l pretty much always get the burger.
Maybe sitting at the bar not good. Had to hear manager bark condescending commands. Maybe that's the diner life but it change the atmosphere.
