Wonderful location close to the Riverwalk and the Pearl. Came here on vacation so I appreciate a photo opportunity with the San Antonio sign right outside the restaurant. Decent portions, awesome service, and yummy.I got the verde enchilada which was delicious with flavor that penetrates all the way through. Fish tacos and guacamole also shown. My friend’s order she seems to like it. Wished the tostadas had more garnish besides meat and cheese though.
The outdoor area is as attractive and enjoyable as the interior is unappealing. The music selection is great. We waited in line for about an hour on a Friday night around 8 PM, but the waitstaff were attentive and quick, making the wait more bearable. The only downside is that the food wasn’t very impressive. This place is ideal for enjoying drinks in a beautiful setting, but it shouldn’t be the first choice for those wanting to experience authentic Mexican cuisine.

We were visiting for Fiesta and on our way to a different restaurant saw this and had to sfop. I had a drink called "los pepinos". It was 10/10 delicious!! The food is authentic Mexican not tex mex and soooo good. They own corn fields so the chips and tortillas are fresh and homemade. The food is prepared over the fire and can be seen from the tables as they cook it. Service was great, the manager came over to check on us. Highly recommended, not full of tourist but was so good....read full review
