Walked in and had to ask for my fry in my second basket. Then I got home with two tween girls who want mild chicken (we ordered 3 two pieces with fries), and 2 of the orders were spicy, not mild. I am one only one who ordered a two piece with no drink and a 2 piece with a fry is $8.99 .
Used to be the go-to place for clean oil large pieces of fried chicken. Popeyes food is still the same but who can afford the prices? Come on ..chicken wholesale is 30 cents a pound at best and I know thier labor is manageable for cost effectiveness. The oil at times is rancid so its really roulette on the experience. The sides are still de-hydrated beans and rice, instant potatoes and always gloppy cold Mac and cheese.It's a shame an American institution that once dominated Churches...read full review

The spicy chick this time wasn't spicy. I'm guessing they changed the spice profile or maybe I got regular chicken. It was seasoned and juicy just not SPICY at all. In all 8 pieces. I was disappointed at that. Biscuits were buttery as usual. Mashed potatoes were good and flavorful with the gravy as usual.Bring back the spicy chicken!
