Taco Cabana is a restaurant that has received mixed reviews. Some customers have experienced long wait times, small portions, and cold food, while others have praised the excellent service and quality of the food, particularly the crispy bacon and red salsa. The restaurant appears to be understaffed, leading to some inconsistencies in the customer experience. However, the staff is generally courteous and helpful, trying their best to provide a good experience despite the challenges. Recent improvements under new management have made a noticeable difference, with some customers noting better service and food quality. The staff, including the manager and team members like Elizabeth, are often praised for their kindness and helpfulness. Customers have enjoyed meals like the Cabana Bowl, though some have experienced mistakes such as missing ingredients like rice and beans. The drive-thru service is quick and friendly, with Elizabeth's energetic and welcoming attitude standing out. The food is good, but late at night, it may take longer to prepare as meals are made to order. The steak tacos are fresh, but the steak can sometimes be less seasoned and watery tasting. Overall, the restaurant continues working on improving the experience for its guests.
