“I ate at this place after driving from ten bucks 2. It felt like it any. Some know the story. But once I arrived at Freedom Burgers. It was like a place of freedom and Peace. The Food I received was extra ordinary. Well Pleased. It was Very Nice to say in the Presence of the workers there. One thing I learned long ago was to get off the complaint counter and stay on the altar.”

“I stop in a couple times a week for lunch. Love the food and all the staff. Best bartenders around, I have never been disappointed. Love anything with the grilled chicken. Favorites are chicken and cheese quesadillas, grilled chicken Caesar, Spinach Salad, Pot stickers.”

“I ordered Brisket, potato salad , coleslaw, beans and peach and blackberry cobblers for our Labor Day weekend barn dance. We had around 40 ish people and they absolutely loved everything ! The brisket was so tender you could cut it with a plastic fork. The sides were excellent and the cobblers so awesome we ran out early. Thank you so much . You made our day special.”

“Best Mexican food in Ft Worth. This is our go to place for great Meccan food. Great service yummy food and fun atmosphere. We go about once a week and have order several different items on the menu. None have disappointed. Everything is prepared well and very tasty. I highly recommend Tequilas. Try it you won’t be disappointed!”

“We live in Springtown and have enjoyed many meals at Senshi! I had the pleasure of bringing my brother and his wife here (who I had not seen in eight years!) with several family members. We had awesome food, the sushi rolls, dumplings, wagyu beef, shrimp fried rice, and Beef Don. Food was delicious, hot and tasty. Everyone had a great time enjoying ourselves listening to music with wonderful service. Thank you Senshi for helping show my family a good time in Springtown!”

“This is no longer a free standing restaurant. It is located inside Turkey Mountain Feed & General Store (since Feb 2025 and as of this review in July 2025). There are two picnic tables outside for eating at. The staff is very kind and helpful. The tacos were very good (we tried carne asada, pollo, barbacoa, and al pastor). They come with grilled pineapple (which was fabulous), grilled onion, raw white onion, cilantro, lime, green sauce, red sauce and charro beans. We paid $20 for 8 tacos and it was a lot of food. I am happy for the price for the proportions. Not the best tacos I’ve had but very very good. I would come back if we were close by (I just maybe wouldn’t drive the 40 min we did tonight).”

“Took our family today for the first time to Tavern on the Lake. Service was prompt, establishment was clean. Server was great with the small kiddos we had with us. Fried pickles were the best. Fried just right and not greasy. Batterred chicken strips were fresh and hot. Sweet tea is absolutely amazing. I’ve read several reviews on this place. I could see with a smaller kitchen how times could take long. Super simple. If it’s packed and you don’t have time to wait, hit up somewhere else. Overall we had an excellent experience and will be back. Support local! Disclaimer- I’m not saying this place never makes mistakes. I also understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and everybody gets their own unique experience. I can only speak for our families experience today. Hope this helps :)”

“We stopped in for a quick bite and were greeted right away, which was a great start. Our server was on point and friendly, efficient, and quick with our drinks and food order. My husband wasn't thrilled with his meal. He said the fries were cold and a bit stale, and the shrimp tasted like it had been previously frozen and was rubbery. The fish, however, was decent and cooked well. I, on the other hand, really enjoyed my Shroom burger with a vegan patty. The bun was soft and delicious. Everything came out promptly, and overall, I thought it was a solid experience. Even though my husband's meal wasn't good to him, we both agreed it's worth him giving another shot. And honestly, I'll be back... with or without him! I love water so being on the lake was nice. And the interior definitely feels like a a restaurant ups find on any lake. Love it.”
