“I'm not sure why this DQ has the low star rating because we had the BEST experience. We stopped by here on our way home from church camp with a group of 33. The ladies behind the counter were fantastic and had our order ready to go as soon as we got there like promised. They accommodated our last minute ice cream order with a smile on their face. Coming in with that many kiddos is not something everyone loves but they didn't bat an eye but instead greeted us with sweet smiles and made us feel welcomed. Also the food was fresh and hot, and the ice cream was not melted. I can't say enough good and wish I could thank them more. Definitely will stop here again in the future if Im ever passing through.”

“Stopped there from Abilene on the way to Llano for lunch. I knew we were in for a great experience the moment we walked in and saw the atmosphere. That was backed up when I tasted the coleslaw and could tell it was fresh and scratch made. I had the fried shrimp and the wife had the Mexican Caviar, both were delicious. It’s a 1 hour drive from Abilene and though we ate this time while on the way through Coleman we will be making the drive from Abilene with the specific purpose of eating there.”

“Was passing by town at dinnertime and my son looked up reviews for what's in town and chose here. We were happily surprised by how good it was! I had a steak on fries and he had chicken fried steak fingers and it was delicious!!! Now I'm planning a trip back to the area just to eat here again!”
“Best little roadside bar in Texas. The owners are top notch people. Locals are friendly. Music is always good. And the Crawfish Boil they host annually the first Saturday in April is the best I have ever tasted and hard to beat. If you're ever passing thru Coleman, stop in and see Danny & Debbie. You won't be disappointed. They are great. Excellent pit stop for a motorcyclist out on a cruise to rest a bit and relax with a cold one.”

“Delicious food, great service. This Subway was all ready for the holidays with tasteful decor everywhere you look.
The staff was efficient, kind, and patient as he single handedly assisted the lunch crowd.
The sandwich was delicious, better than other subways I've had. This was a lovely treat while traveling.
Also, the customers were so kind that caused me to really love the town as a whole.”

“Update: The manager called me and apologized for this experience. This meant a lot to me because to keep a business going, a good interactions with customers is important. She stated she has talked to employee about this issue. I am satisfied with this apology and will return to Sonic. Thank you I frequent this Sonic in Coleman quite often. They have good days, and bad days, depending on staff or lack of it. But I have always given them the benefit of the doubt. Today I ordered, as I always do, a medium Lemonade Slush. I've never had an issue with a slush. but today it was awful. I headed down the road putting my straw in, took a sip and omg it was awful. no taste at all. I head back and the young man said the lemon flavoring was in the bottom of the cup and I needed to stir it. I said no, my straw is down to the bottom and there is no lemon. He said yes it is and I said why is it all Clear then? I said I can't be going down the road trying to stir something that isn't in it. he was disrespectful and said you can stir it. I got out and went to talk to staff. the women were nice but the cook said she put it in and I was tired of arguing. I said fine just put lemon in it. she did and it tasted fine then and was yellow. Both women said I have to ask everytime for lemon syrup when I order a lemonade slush. why now all of a sudden? why has this never happened before? That twit of a server needs his mouth cleaned with a bar of soap. He was probably mad because the girl with me who paid for our slushes, she got cherry, didn't leave a tip for 2 medium slush drinks. He certainly didn't deserve a tip and besides, if I leave a tip, it's done in cash only. I'm going to call HQ Sonic and ask about how the slush is made.”

“The fried pickles and chicken strip plate were incredible! Portions are huge, and the staff are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. The nursing home I work for brought a group of 10+ residents and staff to eat lunch one day, and everyone at Ma’s treated us like family. They weren’t phased by the large group, or the mass ordering. They were kind, patient, and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!!”
