Today, we celebrated my mother-in-law's retirement from her career, as a teacher. The two bartenders were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent guidance as we selected wines. We thoroughly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding customer service. ♡“

“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!“

“WoW! Excellent find in League City. Definitely worth the drive. We tried the meatballs, fried cheese, fried pickles, and the fried lasagna sticks for appitizers.... We talked Austin into making a special sampler. For the meal we ordered the Detroit style pizza... Half meat lovers and half spicy cuparoni - double cut. Everything was delicious and Tristan took excellent care of us. We will be back!“

Prices are kinda high for the amount they turn over especially when you compare to the local mom pop barbecue shops.“

“Pho yen had great ownership and some of the best pho in Houston in my opinion. Now they have new ownership and at least on the surface, it looks to have gotten better. The Vietnamese egg rolls and set up are 2nd to none in Houston. The pho has not changed. They have added banh mi sandwiches with a slight twist. The bread seems to be like a homemade bread texture. It was good but I still prefer the French baguette similar to the boullio bread. The biggest upgrade to the new ownership was a very nice and needed renovation to the dining area. It is still my favorite place for pho. And to the new owners, don't even think of changing the Vietnamese egg recipe!!!!“

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.“

“I have seen four bad reviews.I think they must be talking about another place.We started going there a little over two years ago.We eat there at least once a week,sometimes twice and not on ce was there a bad meal.They have had a little trouble with Chefs as the one who had been there a long time,who.drove from Galveston every daY, left early this year He was great.The other Chef who came was ok but not successful and did not last long and I do not know if they have another permanent Chef or if the Chef's assistants are doing it at the moment.Whatever the food is always good and plenty and they have 22 beers on drought and offers on drin ks and food every day.Food is served until 10pm every night except Fri and SaT when it is 11pm aNd they are open until midnight every day except Fri and SsturdaY when it is 1am.The staff are great and the Customers are great. We have made at least 20good friends and I mean Good friends who are now close friends ,since going there.If you want grest food,great.drinks,meet nice people,this is the place.I always saY there is always an ear that will.listen and someone to laugh with.I do not understand the bad reviews of whic h I saw only four going bac to20 21.This is NOT this place.“

The ladies bathroom was impeccably clean and well stocked. Our server surprised me with a beautifully and delicious complimentary Sopapillas with cream and a lit birthday candle. Red River Cantina has nothing to envy their competitors. We all know who they are. Red River is our new restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced TexMex dining! So we had reorder and wait for the correct No cut order.

Today I am writing to thank and praise the manager and staff of Esteban’s for their immediate, effective, professional and caring response to an emergency in which a client had an apparent stroke. Multiple staff immediately: ran to the client, called 911, took directions from the 911 operator and passed them to family with the stroke victim, stood by with the stroke victim’s family and place an employee outside to direct the ambulance. Throughout this process the rest of the staff very efficiently took over for those three who were with the patient, on the phone with 911, or at the door directing the ambulance. The victim and family were supported, no restaurant tables suffered a lack of service, the ambulance was there within ten minutes, and the patient and her family member were fully supported throughout.“
