If you are one of the folks who had come here pre-covid and experienced the opposite, let me tell you, this is not the same place. This is worth the drive over even when I am not on my way to work!!”

“The Purple Pig was recommended to me, and I recommend this outstanding BBQ eatery enthusiastically. The best pulled pork BBQ I've eaten has been in Tennessee. Nothing to compare. We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. Wonderful sides. Add to the excellence of the food is the service and the quaint, charming setting. Five stars.”

“All the bad reviews are usually fake, i love this restaurant so much! I come here very often all the time if people seriously think this food does not taste good they must be out of their minds! A few days ago i was eating my food and saw someone continuously order food and refuse to pay for it saying it tasted terrible, my question was if its so bad why eat it? Now i'm seeing a review alike to what happened, name? Avaya Suha, the food coloring gets off, not off of clothes but how does it even end up there. In my opinion the food is amazing and hits home, if you've tried the food here and thought of it as bad, i recommend the nearest gas station, maybe that would better suit your tastes.”

“For our Anniversary in 2022, my wife and I decided we wanted to get a cake to celebrate. We both like old-fashioned butter-creme icing, and not that new light, marshmallow-ish stuff that bakeries put on cakes today. We wanted a layer-cake with thick butter-creme filling, as well as icing on the outside. Emily's Cakes came through for us. The cake we got was more than expected and was absolutely delicious! We're planning to order another one this year, if we haven't waited too late. We need it by Sunday of next week 7/14/24. Is that even possible?”

“I have always love Randy G’s but today or tonight whatever meant so much I was a bit short on some money I though I had more than I did and Randy him self helped me out. “This is a great coffee shop in Schertz. They have a large variety of drinks and even some fancy breakfast items. They have a unique set up - drive through lane on each side of the building. All orders are taken at the window. The staff is super nice. The reason I gave 4 starts is because the coffee tastes different depending on who makes it. Also the price varies each time depending on how the coffee was rung in. I noticed you get charged for cream and sugar. But it is better than Dunkin and Starbucks.
Update after owners response- I always use my card to pay. The coffees I order are always the same. When I look at the receipt the prices are different. for 2 coffees the prices are between 7 and change and 8 and change. The one difference I noticed is the way the coffees are rung up.
Again it’s not a big deal.
But I wish the coffee would taste the same no matter who made it. My coffee is simple- black with caramel.

“Our favorite pizza place in town! My hunny and I have been there several times, pizza always top notch as well as the wings! Customer service has always been amazing, they already know our drink order! Multiple TVs to catch your favorite team. Trivia night is always a blast! We HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re in the area 😁”

“I love on the grind so much more than Starbucks. They have a good selection of coffee, comes hot, cold and blended. They even offer a stamp card and after you buy 10 coffees you get one free. They dont even scam you by making the free coffee something nobody wants like a small black. I just redeemed my free drink today and got a large iced chocolate Carmel coffee. Their drinks dont taste as sugary as Starbucks, which I like, but they are still quite sweet. Ive gone here for a few years now and never have they gotten my order wrong, everyone is always very happy and even if the line looks long still go! They do the same thing chick fil a does and will get your order on an iPad and get you out with your drink fast. I love this place. They are dog friendly too and my dogs love coming to get a pup cup. What is not to like?”

“I recently visited the local VFW clubhouse after inheriting a flag flown in honor of my grandfather, who served in the Korean War. I was told this was the place to go for help getting it properly folded for display. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and kind. Two gentlemen took the time to carefully fold the flag with me, even giving a salute to honor my grandfather’s service. Others hung around to chat, which made the whole experience feel personal and genuine. This isn’t just a clubhouse it’s a place full of respect, camaraderie, and community. Very grateful for the help and the warm atmosphere.”

“Do not order a quesadilla you will be disappointed. Unless it is for a child. It is literally a small tortilla folded in half. Nachos are pretty good. Piled high. It's enough for 2 or more people to enjoy. They have Jicama and horchata in the refillable drink area.”

“I love eating here. tonight left a sour taste in my mouth . last week I ordered extra cane sauce. it was left out when order was being checked. I went this evening, requested a cane sauce at no charge. I explained reason. cashier checked with mngmnt as I was standing there, manager told the young man that he can't be giving out free food. so what does the young man do? he pays for it. once I realized what was going on, I advised the young man I could pay for it BUT he wasn't giving away FREE food! “Recommend 100x - I visit this location at least a couple times a week. Today, I witnessed something truly amazing. I was in the drive thru. I heard one of the employees tell another employee that a lady in a curbside spot was having a bad day. Whenever she delivered her food to her, I noticed that the employee was praying for the customer. This blew my mind, as I had never seen this happen at a restaurant before. Very, very special. Thank you for hiring people that not only do their job, but go above and beyond for their customers.”

“Don't let the fact that this BBQ place is attached to an HEB fool you, it's a real sit-down restaurant. Fran greeted us with a smile and was helpful for our first time here and was helpful with the menu. The brisket and pulled pork were great and the two sauces ( sweet or spicey) compliment the meats well. It is the sides that really stand out here. The brisket beans are soft, creamy and full of flavor, the collard greens I could eat all day, and the cream corn is not what your mama served. Stop in and get some BBQ and don't forget the sides.”

today I called earlier this afternoon and I placed a delivery order for three açai bowls And I had asked the sweet girl that answered if she could please ensure it was made properly because the last time it wasn’t, she was the sweetest girl. She told me have a nice day which nowadays that goes so far cause no one has manners and my phone ended up hanging up on her by accident and I called right back. A boy answered was really polite. I apologize for hanging up and he said he would pass the message when we received our order. There was a little note apologizing in that our bowls were not made properly and we had two little cards from there. It was so sweet”

“Don't know why this place isn't 5 stars. Never stepped for inside but have ordered this on uber maybe 20 times over the last few months and it's always the bomb, gets there with all items, it's almost always still really hot (that's a win for uber), and flavors are on point. Will be coming back until they do something egregious, will update if needed. As of 5 July 22 though it's still the best wings place in cibolo schertz and UC that I've found.”

“I just wanted to say that Yesterday around dinner time both me and my husband went in to La madeleine for dinner and it was truly so amazing. Reading some of the comments i was a little hesitant but still wanted to try it!! The two young ladies that were working there were super helpful when it come to explaining how the ordering and where we could sit worked and they were just super friendly. I didn’t catch their names but i wish i did. One of the girls had Dark red/brown hair and the other girl had brown hair with bits of highlights. Our food took a bit to come out but i could tell they were busy so no rush Haha! but other than that our food was super yummy. The manager Gloria was there being super helpful as well. She was cleaning tables and helping the girls when it got busy. I’m glad to see that this store has managers who truly do care. I would definitely recommend this place 10/10 experience🤗🤗”

“The Smash Burger was great. The fries were seasoned too much for my taste. I would rather have just good ole' salt and pepper. The service was great and the guy was very friendly. A home run would be to offer regular fries (unseasonsed) and their seasoned fries. Best of both worlds. Read the reviews and I'm not the only one making this observation. I would be more of a repeat customer with non-seasoned fries. Don't get me wrong, I have had some seasoned fries in the past that I like, but I don't particularly care for these that the offer. Again, the burger was great!!!”
