“My favorite place from my recent trip to Salado. I had a scoop of the wild blueberry and a scoop of the lemon sorbet and the mix was wonderful. Owner was kind and genuine and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. All items made from scratch and organic. Highly recommend stopping in and trying pretty much anything. I'll definitely be back in!”

“I mean Dayum! I was heading up the 95 from Sherwood Forest Faire today and need led a solid bbq meal. Most places along the route were closed, so after some logistics I ended up here right before closing. The dude working the place was super amazing and brought my food to the car. The brisket was divine and I ate it with my hands, dipping in the perfect bbq sauce.I’ll definitely be back soon!My only wish is putting Mac and cheese on the menu pleazzzeeeeee! Thank you”

“The food was ok but a bit too salty. I have high standards for Mexican food in the Austin area so I would probably only come back to try their tamales, but I wouldn’t go for the plates/dishes since there are so many great options around. The staff is kind and helpful even though they were really busy getting out orders for the holidays.”

“Great little roadhouse. Stopped for a late supper. Enjoyed the homemade flavors of meatloaf, chicken, and appetizer Jalapeño strips deep fried with fries. All the dishes were very good and the service as great. It gets a little loud in the main room, but we had a great meal.”

“Food is top notch. The pastries (kolaches, muffins, turnovers) are all made from scratch and literally melt in your mouth. We got our peach and blueberry kolaches still warm from the oven and they were delicious! The cherry on top is that this is a family run restaurant driven by a mother/daughter combo. Worth the drive.”

“I really enjoyed this stop during my trip. Really cute roaster, much better experience than a corporate chain. I got the hot matcha latte. The stunning girl behind the register took my order, was kind, knowledgeable, and fast. The matcha was fantastic. Look forward to stopping here next time I’m driving through. Clean bathrooms are always a major plus.”

“I been to many food trucks but i have to say Taqueria El Sazon De Mama has 100% the best taste ever from their hot sauce the carne asada chicken fajita. I personally love their service always great service. If you want good food great value go there you won't regret it.”
“Atmosphere is nice the bartenders are always pleasant and helpful with suggesting beers. It looks like they have over 50 beers on tap and an extensive wine list. The only weird part is going next door to order food but the food was good and fast and they deliver it to you.”

“Probably the best pastor tacos in the Austin area. This place is out of the way, but it’s worth the trip. If you live in Georgetown, it’s close to town. Will be coming back.”

“Pleasant little cafe in Salado, we waited a few minutes before we were provided menus, but we had our choice of breakfast or lunch. Food was decent, biscuit was fluffy. I had eggs with red potatoes, onions, peppers and sausage.”

“Had the bacon, egg, and bean tacos in homemade tortillas. The flavor was mouth bursting, just delicious with their unique salsa. The only down is that this place accepts cash only, and it is a “pick to go place”, the atmosphere is outdoors with only on picnic table.”
“New to Salado and was looking for a good coffee spot, well I found it! Great service, coffee was perfect and food was delicious. The croissant breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've had. The place is so quaint and cozy for a morning coffee. Highly recommend!”

“We went to the shed for a late lunch, and it was amazing as most places in Salado. Before I forget, I want to mention the waitress Lisa, who was amazing and gave amazing customer service! She was very familiar with the menu and had some really good recommendations, which I always enjoy when eating at a restaurant. We had the shed sampler, which was mozzarella sticks, hot wings and chips and salsa. We opted for the Dr Pepper wings (housemate sauce) YUM and and the kickin' bourbon. The ambience is much like something that you would see on diners, dives, and drive-ins. The food was great. My BLT was perfect and I will absolutely make this one of my staples when I'm in Salado.”

“The only reason they're not rated higher is because of their hours and people who dont understand restaurants. Great food and even better service! A must try in ”
“The beer is cheap. The young brunette at the bar didn’t even say hi to me. She was literally eating her lunch in front of me. Total disrespect. However i spent $15 for 3 beers including tips so i rated 5 stars. Nice place whatsoever. Good music and cool atmosphere.”

“I see why this place has a pretty high rating; we had a selection of tacos and a torta and all were delicious and made to order, and server at window was friendly. However, be aware that it’s walk-up service with a couple of picnic tables out front, and looks kind of deserted.”

“Best chorizo burro around! Doesn't matter if you use the red or green sauces because they're both flavorful. Careful with the red, it has some heat to it. Looking forward to trying more from them”
