“My husband and I had Brunch at The Backyard for the second time recently and it once again did not disappoint. We have definitely made it our new spot! The service is sooo kind and friendly. The food is SOOO amazing. The drinks are fresh and well sized. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Chris & Shelby on our first visit. They are definitely what you look for in an establishment. I highly recommend Sunday funday brunch here! Even if you brunch with the family. Great spot! Great people!“

“Our family was in the area, super close to Kema boardwalk and NASA. The Philly cheesteak was eeexcleeent!! The beef was juicy and crispy and the perfect amount of melted cheese. So good

My other favorite were the chicken wings and popcorn shrimp. I saw a lot of people ordering pizzas, will get that next time

“Had a wonderful dinner with my son home from college tonight. Chicken kebab was so good. His beef and lamb gyro he said was amazing. The fire feta is a must have every time. Had great conversation with Ms. Maria, the owner. She’s precious. Can’t wait to go back. It’s always so good and the staff so welcoming.“

“it's an okay place . only thing I highly disliked is them having drinks on their drinking menu that are overpriced af with no price next to them. me and my wife ordered the " pink senorita " not thinking it was going to be 15$ for EACH so a total of 30 for two drinks? get serious. there was no price next to the drink names and I didn't find out until after cause I had to ask the waitress. also when it comes to the food. specific things are worth the money and some are absolutely not. I ordered the blackened fish. was expecting a nice size serving. it said " half pound " it came out looking like it was no more than 8 oz of fish. immediately killed my mood. other than that it was okay. will i ever go again? more than likely not. there's plenty of places out there that have better drinks for the price and food.“

“Went to Scotty’s with my wife for brunch. The service was great and food was amazing. The Plan B burger was AMAZING. I almost ordered another one. My wife enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and the not a burger biscuits. Definitely will be back and highly recommend.“

“Yesterday was our first time dining at Main 101. We've been wanting to go for a couple of years, yes years! We are so glad we did. The food was phenomenal & service was great. My only suggestion is to change the decor in the restaurant. The way the food tastes, this deserves to look like a fine dining restaurant. Deviled eggs 4/5, Fried crab sandwich 4/5 and fries 5/5, crab tower 2/5 [ it lacked seasoning and it was dry needing a drizzle of ranch or something to enhance the flavor, I remember this dish tasting better in the past], Oysters Rockefeller 0/5 due to the metallic taste but the manager removed it from the bill 👌🏿, the steak 3/5 it lacked seasoning and was more rare than medium as requested, lemon drops 🍸3/5 sweet but no alcohol....“

“What can I say!!?? When you walk in you think ok another bar same bar food!? However what a hidden gem. The flavor combinations are incredible. Duck wings!! Sorry no photo but damn are they good!! Pizza photos, first date is the name. Incredible also. Then the Jerky bird burger and Disco fries. Holy hell what a place to eat at a bar!! You have to try this place at least once in our case more than once. Come to Scotty's in League City!!!“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. I highly recommend trying their food if you haven’t before. I took photos but it won’t let me add them to my review.“

“Went for the first time on Sunday. Upon entering, we approached the check in/ cashier desk. Wait staff were walking back & forth as we stood & no one said a word. No greeting, not we will be right with you. Not a word! One young lady ( Wish I would have gotten her name) she was sitting right there, preparing serving utensils. She did not say a word as we stood there. I've never felt so uncomfortable, unwelcome, & disregarded! Never! Finally, another wait staff that was helping over at the check out computer, walked over & asked the young lady who was sitting there to assist us! Still, not a word to us! The young lady stood up & with the worse attitude, she asked did we want to sit inside or outside. While I was asking my husband his preference, she rolled her eyes & and rudely asked , " Inside or out!? Again, I wish I had asked her name, but she appeared to be the youngest. Between being disregarded as we walked in & stood, and her attitude, I told my husband I was uncomfortable & wanted to leave! He pushed back & said let's give it a chance beyond this! So we stayed & were seated outside as we preferred. Then comes our waitress! What a pleasant surprise & she turned our experience around! We learned that she had not been there but 3 days or 3 weeks. ( I forget) her name is Amanda & she is pregnant. She's such a pleasant & nice person! We felt badly for sitting outside, because she worked so diligently. It was quite a walk in the heat, because we chose to sit outside on the pier that was a bit of a walk. Again, she was so pleasant & professional! The drinks & food are superb! From the oyster 🦪 appetizers, to the platters! Delicious! Some of the best seafood & side orders, ever! Truly! Drinks are flavorful, delicious, and they aren't stingy or scarce with the liquor. 😆 I would absolutely visit again, but truly afraid of the treatment, unless it's Amanda again“
