Even my picky 7 year old loves it. We come to town often to visit family and it is a must eat every trip! 10/10 recommend the teriyaki crispy tofu!“

“This is the best Asian spot in town. The food is always good, seasoned to perfection, and piping hot. The egg rolls do not measure up to the quality of the food but the spring rolls are much better. My only complaint is that this place reeks so bad. I’m not sure if it’s sewer or what but I couldn’t stomach dining in which sucks because I love a good Sake.“

“This is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants in The Woodlands. The vibe is pretty casual but the food is great. They have some unique dishes that you can't find at a lot of other Chinese restaurants in this area. There is a lot of variety on the menu and it goes far beyond basic "Americanized" Chinese food with a great mix of traditional dishes as well. As you can see, the portion sizes are huge. The quality is excellent and a great value. They also have a great lunch special. Service is quick and friendly.“

“This restaurant came highly recommended from a friend. We stopped in today to give it a try. Our takeout order was beef fried rice, shrimp fried rice, sweet & sour chicken and jumbo fried shrimp. Everything was exceptionally delicious. The fried rice was cooked perfectly. The sweet & sour chicken was super tasty. The most satisfying was the jumbo fried shrimp. Being raised in a city where seafood is king, I can honestly say that this is the best shrimp I'd had here in Texas. I love leftovers and we had plenty due to the generous servings. Friendly, welcoming service was much appreciated. The Ambience is that of a local Chinese establishment. The colors are calming not overly saturated. This restaurant is at the top of the list in the future for Chinese cuisine. Will definitely go back and recommend highly.“

“When craving Chinese food, what better way to satisfy it by going to a hole in the wall restaurant? This place is the definition of hole in the wall! They have a huge menu and everything sounds sooo good. You walk in and they take your order at the back counter. We were greeted when we walked in and it felt so welcoming. As it was our first time there they patiently waited as we browsed the menu. We ended up getting an order of crab puffs which were seriously so good! An order of their pork lo mein. Not greasy/oily at all. The flavors were so satisfying. An order of the honey chicken. At first glance the plate seemed overwhelming because of the sauce, but Omg the sauce made the entire plate. The chicken was so soft and tender. The egg roll it came with was flavorful!!! We also ordered the kung pao beef. The meat was soo tender and bursting with flavor. This place was so good. The only off thing was the chili oil, it had a weird flavor. But other than that we are going back to try other plates!! They also advertise they don't use MSG in their food. I could tell because I didn't get the usual headache I get after eating Chinese food.“

“If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. “Great experience as first timers. Great customer service from the manager, Gilbert and our server, Carson. Food was very fresh and flavorful. Restaurant was nice and clean. The location is also a good spot in proximity to the free parking garage.“

“The food is amazing here and very affordable! I got three combination plates for 30 bucks! Each this was delicious, so delicious. I forgot to take a picture of it and I just ate it.I got the general Tso chicken(which came out very red. I've never had them look like that before.) Beef Lo mein, and the spare ribs. give you big portions for dinner & the food was cooked really fast.The only thing I didn't like was when I called in my order of the person who answered the phone was very blunt & almost rude..“

“Food was good and hot. Got take out and it was hot and really fast. Restaurant was clean and the hostess was really nice.I ordered shrimp pad thai... what you see here is definitely lacking some ingredients. It was full of shrimp. I ate it because the sauce was yummy and the amount of shrimp was good at this price point.Also, we did order the triple delight, Mongolian style and that was really good. It was spicy but that really good, takes awhile to hit you, spicy. The sauce on this and the sauce on the pad thai is what will have me ordering again because they definitely have some good sauces on their food.“

“Good food and good atmosphere, I decided on takeout and they certainly seemed busy with takeout orders. The woman at the front host stand was extremely pleasant and helpful ( she is a jewel) , my order came out quick and it was very tasty and plentiful. It looks very comfortable and clean inside to dine in, I will certainly visit again.“

“Hands down one of the best Chinese food spots on the north side. There spicy edamame is top notch. I normally get delivery but was nearby and wanted to check the place out. There restraint is smaller than most which hit me by surprise but when I went in I was greater with amazing service. There food is rich with flavors and everything taste fresh. I've eaten at a lot of Chinese food places up north but this place takes the cake. It's a must try. “I really enjoyed the interior of this restaurant as well as the service. The tables were very clean neat and tidy, the colors were mostly gold and red and the cushioning was very comfortable. They had a bar area where you could order alcoholic beverages as pairings. They menu was very wide and consisted of a variety of American Chinese dishes. The food wasn’t too heavy on the flavor profiles so if you have allergies, this place is great as they don’t add a bunch of spices and flavors to their food. ? I have them 3 stars because I enjoy flavors more so than anything when I go out to new restaurants and this restaurant seems to focus on the quantity of food and not so much the flavor. Me and my friend ordered the beef fried rice and vegetable Lo Mein. It’s served family style so it would enough for a family of four to each have a portion. “First time ordering frothis restaurant, lunch special orange chicken, white rice, wonton soup, absolutely delicious from top to bottom. Order was ready in 10 minutes, everything fresh, hot, soup was perfect, orange chicken was juicy, sauce was a great mixture, one of the best lunches to have in the area, not too heavy, hits the spot, and is a perfect weather combo maker. “Shrimp and Lobster Sauce is delish! Great take out or delivery. Be precise on what sauces you want, because it will not be included if you do not ask. Their Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons are very good, as well as the Wong Tong soup. They are very fast and very accurate.“

“Went in for lunch and had the General Taos Chicken was amazing. There Japanese Cheesecake is also a must have. Lots of variety of flavors on the cheesecakes Chocolate , Matcha, and Original . By far one of the most delicious Cheesecakes I have ever had melts in your mouth.“
