“I felt like I was doing this place a great disservice by not leaving a review. We order takeout from here twice a month for the past few months so I figured I should finally leave a review. I love this place! The food is always soo fresh and taste soo good. The fried items aren’t super oily like other places. The prices aren’t absolutely ridiculous and best of all, they don’t have a bunch of crazy fees for delivery! The older gentleman that usually delivers our food is always so friendly and happy and we love interacting with him! We haven’t ever eating inside this place though so I can’t comment on the physical restaurant.“

“This was probably the best quality Chinese food I have had! The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The price was more than fair and the portions were large I'm very excited about having the leftovers for lunch. I had Sichuan eggplant and my husband had general tso Chicken. Both were exceptional. The lo mein was the best I have ever had. It was a little smoky tasting. I don't leave many reviews but this time I had to.“

“If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL "OG" CHEF CHAN'S!!! Give them all your money, and tell them that Anthony says, "Hi!" “I had the Hunan Beef, not very spicy, but the sauce is delicious,
Mushrooms, baby corn and watercress are delicious. It had so much sauce that I put some of my fried rice in it. Yum. Even the broccoli was cooked well, and beef tender. Ok, now for husband's meal, he had the triple delight skillet meal. He said a bit bland, that the broth had no flavor, so I offered my sauce, as not spicy (hubby doesn't do spicy). He will try a Hunan dish next time. Their pork dumplings with their dipping sauce was very good. It wasn't soy sauce, so not salty. We will be back.“

“I’ve been looking for a real good Chinese restaurant for months and finally came across Fang’s. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and as soon as I opened the container I knew it would be delicious! Tons of shrimp and a big portion! Rice was cooked to perfection. The sweet and sour chicken along with the egg rolls were very delicious as well! This is definitely my new go-to spot!“

“I am extremely picky when it comes to Chinese buffets as many do not compare to my favorite local buffet that’s been around for 40+ years. We decided to stop here after my grandma’s doctor appointment and I was not expecting it to be that good. I was so wrong! The food was so good and fresh! The chicken dishes were fried until crispy and then tossed in the sauce, a step in which a lot of buffets skip leading to soggy chicken. There was a great variety of foods to choose from. The shrimp cocktail on the cold table was cleaned perfectly, tasted fresh and were large! The service was great. The building is a little dated, but the ambiance was cozy and the restaurant looked very clean and well taken care of. The bathrooms were spotless. I highly recommend this buffet!! I will definitely come to this place anytime I’m in town!“

The hot and sour soup was not sour or hot at all but had good broth.
The eggrolls were great. They were fresh and crispy.
The Mongolian beef was alright. Scallions are an important flavor in Mongolian beef and there were not many in the dish so it lacked flavor.“

“Delicious and fresh. I have ordered delivery twice in the last five days and I'm pleased. First order was not prepared as I requested but was still very good. Sesame crispy tofu in ginger sauce is my favorite. Serving size is great. I do wish the servers will stop putting the sauce packs in the bag with my spring roll.“
