“This food tastes actually like Chinese food. I just move here from Salt Lake City where there are very good authentic Chinese places. Here, I wasn’t able to find good Chinese food until I found this little place Is a small restaurant so not much variety as Tepanyaki, but men, their food is much better.“

“Big fan of this place, and their staff. I'm pretty sensitive to gluten and REALLY appreciate how seriously they take gluten-free menu options.

I'm usually a takeout person, but tonight we decided to eat dinner at the bar, and it was a great choice. Jacobo was an excellent bartender and server, and the dragon margarita was extremely impressive. We spent some time discussing upcoming birthdays with him, and he made ours extra special by helping us celebrate with a very cute gluten-free dessert.

I'm not sure there's enough money in the world for me to have to talk to people for a living, but most of them aren't as personable as this young bartender.“

“We’re from Albuquerque and everytime we have a trip to El Paso we have to stop at Moo Goo! They have the best Chinese food that we’ve had anywhere. The portions are great and the workers are very friendly. Their egg drop soup is AMAZING. I can seriously keep going on about this place.“

“I've never really considered Shan Dong, drive buy it all the time and judging from the out side you would most likely keep driving. We decided to stop in for take out, the inside is very nice and spacious, nicely greeted, very simple menu, great prices, the host offered complimentary tea while we waited for the order, we were surprised there was only one box of fried rice for 2 orders but looking at the top of the box it was marked fried rice × 2, but that's okay the box was stuffed with rice, plenty for 2 meals, I plan on returning soon for the sit down experience.“

“I had a spectacular meal here after a week of bingeing on Mexican food in the region. I was in the mood for something different, and this seemed more authentic than the standard American Chinese restaurants in town. Full disclosure...I am a chef and have lived in Asia.

Service was super friendly and efficient, even though the one server was juggling a full dining room. I ordered the vegetable noodles (double spicy) and she was a little shocked, but I assured her I have a high tolerance. When it came, it wasn't nearly as spicy as I was expecting, but the delicious chili oil on the table helped a bit. (She was shocked and told me that next time I can order it 4x spicy, but they don't put that on the menu because no one around here would order it that hot. I'm not certain I agree.)

I also ordered the pork and scallion dumplings, and they were delicious. This is as good as it gets in El Paso, and I would return in a heartbeat!“

It seems like this restaurant is geared more towards takeout than for you to eat on premise. Nonetheless, the food is delicious and highly recommended.“

“I rarely eat here because of how bland the food is but I’m trying to eat a bit cleaner than McDonald’s (I’m a trucker) so it was a pleasant surprise when I started eating and I had to stop and write this review. Every other Panda Express cook needs to take notes. These guys do it right.“

“I recently started eating Peking again. There was a time when the food suffered in quality and freshness but that seems to have passed. I truly only go for the lunch special. It's a great deal and includes an egg roll. I absolutely love the Hot and Sour soup and think it's the BEST in El Paso. For my lunch meal and a soup plus tip I pay $15. I don't really like eating there but I do enjoy the service when I order for pick up. They always include sauces and fortune cookies with your meal as well as utensils and napkins. I'm always happy with meal and typically have leftovers. As far as recommending a specific order I really enjoy the beef and broccoli as well as the sesame chicken. I usually ask for white rice not fried. And again HOT AND SOUR SOUP!“

“I think this is the cleanest Panda Express I've ever been to! Other Panda Expresses aren't dirty, but this one was just impeccably clean. I was driving from a long road trip and came pretty late. I think around 10 pm. The employees were friendly and super attentive. The woman serving me was so quick that she was waiting on me to decide what entrees I wanted. I was very impressed AND she filled up my to go containers to the brim! I love it when the pack as much as possible. Great experience!!!“

“Very friendly staff, was amazed that manager was the one serving the food at the front. Location is very clean and well kept. Food was freshly made, regardless of being close to closing time, manager offered to make us selection of food that was out. I found that very impressive, usually eating places will not want to make fresh food if they r near closing time. Will definitely go back! Kudos for ur location, staff, and cleanliness.!“

“I drove in from San Antonio with an overnight stop in El Paso before traveling further. I planned ahead of time to eat here because they stay open till 10:30 pm on Saturday and it was near my Airbnb. I had not stopped for lunch during the long drive so I was famished. I ordered a pint of egg drop soup, 2 egg rolls and Egg Foo Young over steamed white rice, with an unsweet iced tea. Everything was ala carte, so the bill was above average. At least they don't charge extra for beverage refills. Service was excellent, food was excellent but I left smelling like I had hung out over the fryer. They radically need to improve their ventilation. Just figure on taking a shower as soon as you can.“

“Our school placed a large order and because of Panda Express policy we could not pay for it over the phone I drove over to pick it up and I left my wallet in my other car and I had 30 girls waiting for their lunches. I spoke to the girl at the counter she says that they cannot process a credit card unless it's present and the manager came over and he said that he was going to trust me and he let me take my meals too the school and then we came back and paid for all the meals. The manager Cesar save the Day for all the girls lunch because they only get 35 minute lunch and they would not have got their lunch on time if he didn't trust me and bend over backwards and make sure the girls got their meals.“

“The customer service is amazing! Tim's energy with the customers and staff can be felt in everything that is in the restaurant! The food was fantastic! I had the Texan. It had a smoked pork belly and the sauce was smoky and spicy. I tasted the ramen broth before adding the sauce. It was very solid and tasty! I could have had it just straight! I also ordered some gyoza. They were crispy and on point!! I am definitely coming back!!“
