“My partner and I come from Las Cruces and we came to El Paso just to have PF Changs. Although we had to wait because there was a mistake with our order being placed our waiter Diego was incredibly kind and got the mistake addressed and fixed right away. He made sure our food was fresh and apologized for the inconvenience. We have never had a waiter that was so quick to act and as kind as Diego tonight! Thank you for the amazing experience we really enjoyed it!“

“There are only a couple of times in your life you’re in the presence of someone who truly cares about their craft. To the way he describes the dishes, down to how he ensures that he warns you about the spicy level you’re about to take part in, and let me tell you it can get dangerous real fast 🥵 Even then if you pick the wrong spicy level you’re still going to be overwhelmed with taste and freshness. He personally will not give a dish if it’s not fresh and to his standards and that is why he told us he won’t hire help. “My family of 5 just had the most amazing Korean dinner here! The food was all absolutely delicious and reminded me of my time in Korea. So so good. The ladies were very kind and talked with my kids and checked on us multiple times. And the restaurant was very clean! We felt very comfortable there and enjoyed our meal very very much. We will definitely be back! We ordered Bibimbap, bulgogi and japchae, all amazing. And I definitely ate all our banchan and got some refills! Hehe.“

“Pei Wei was a great experience from start to finish. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The Mongolian beef was tender and perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of sweetness and savory sauce. The Kung Pao chicken had a nice kick to it and was packed with flavor without being overwhelming.
What really stood out to us was how much the food reminded us of our years spent in Asia as missionaries. The flavors felt authentic and brought back a lot of great memories, which made the meal even more meaningful.

I was greeted quickly and immediately given complimentary fried wonton chips with a sauce. One server took my drink order and then another server came to take my order. This was my first time here and honestly I just wanted something with noodles. So I asked for suggestions. I ordered pork lo mien. She left and with in minutes egg rolls and hot and sour soup arrived. I kid you not with in maybe 5 minutes… my main entree arrived too! Ate and enjoyed everything. The whole experience was 30 mins.

“Ive been going here for years, it has always had my favorite fried rice in the el paso area. I hadn't gone in a few months and I was surprised to see that the menu had increased in price. The cream cheese ragoons from 6.95 to 8.99 and the fried rice from like 8 bucks to 12. This inflation is crazy!“

“We’re from Albuquerque and everytime we have a trip to El Paso we have to stop at Moo Goo! They have the best Chinese food that we’ve had anywhere. The portions are great and the workers are very friendly. Their egg drop soup is AMAZING. I can seriously keep going on about this place.“

“The Sichuan Pepper Chicken dish is soooo good! I always come back for it. The Fried Noodes are packed with flavor, and the white rice is also delicious. The service is very quick. Although the staff doesn’t speak fluent english they always try very hard to patiently understand and they accommodate very well. Will come back.“

When you walk into a Chinese food carryout restaurant and they have the picture menu on the wall behind the counter there is a very good chance you're going to get some awesome Chinese food and New China did not disappoint. I will only order Chinese food from here for the rest of the time I'm in El Paso. So happy I took a chance to try it out. Reminds of places back on the east coast.“

“My fav Chinese food in Downtown. In a great convenient location.
One can shop and eat here. The wings are delicious and sweet and savory, the red wings are hot and both are done with an original recipe that I believe goes back to the 1990s or older, because I remember as a little kid my mom used to buy me Chinese from here, and it tastes the same. The rice is 10/10.

They told us that they were in the process of moving to their new lication at 5809 Dyer St. We went by and the owner told us they weren't ready for dine-in business, only takeout. We ordered some spicey shrimp, pork and some egg rolls. The portions were very generous. The food was delicious and the owners were very friendly. Great little restaurant. Too bad it's a bit far from my home. We will be back though.“

“I don’t know why the previous reviews say the service was terrible. On the contrary, the service was excellent.

I ordered a family meal, and when I arrived to pick it up, the staff was friendly and attentive. One of the gentlemen even gave me a complimentary water cup while I waited. I was also given an update: “Hey, they’re still working on it—it’s almost ready.”

The staff was hustling, getting those orders out accurately and quickly. You could even hear them communicating with the kitchen. Service like clockwork.“
