“안녕하세요 [a-nyeong-ha-se-yo.. I wanted to thank the chef and staff for bringing AUTHENTIC Korean dishes especially the beef bulgogi which IS authentic as me as a military service member have tasted. Top round is also used in Japanese cooking like the sukiyaki dish. Hey when in Rome you cook what is closest and available in the region. From Pusan to Osan I know for a fact they cook what they have. Just like here in Texas bbq can be almost any type of meat as long as it is good. I give 5 stars...감사합니다gamsahabnidaThank you...from a military service member that visited Korea...“
“I stopped in for a solo dinner. I sat at the bar in which I was greeted promptly by David and ordered a Hendricks n tonic. For starters, I had the brussel sprouts (I highly recommend ordering with pineapple), and for the main dish was the Changs Spicy Chicken with (you guessed it) pineapple white rice! The food came out in a very timely manner, and the drinks were great. I was also greeted by the manager Juan, who was checking to make sure all was well. Overall, it is a great place with great service, excellent food, and a relaxing atmosphere.“
“First time trying this spot and it was so good!I am picky with my Calamari so it wasn’t my highlight but the sushi, the noodles and orange chicken was amazing! Also for $11 the portion was enough for 2. Great service as well. Usually I get names but this time I forgot to ask his name but he was the only server there yesterday for lunch.“
“The experience of seeing what the noodles that you are going to eat a few minutes later are made is very exciting. He also gave me dough so I could replicate the experience. Thank you very much, although it was only take out we had a good time waiting for our “
“Okay it's legit. The Bao is amazing. The dumplings, amazing.Small little shop.Great servers.Owner is amazing, such a nice guy. If I lived here and eat here every day.Came in here late in the evening and they were happy to serve us.They closed at 9:30 pm on the Friday I came. We came in at 9:00 p.m.. they were happy to seat us and happy to serve us.And even if that late hour the food was hot and fresh.Ordered some entrees at the table and got some dumplings to go.Totally happy, 9.5/10.Would go out of my way to do again!“
“I have lived in this neighborhood for over 6 years and never visited until today. I ordered online to pick up at the restaurant. The wait was a little longer than expected but overall the food quality makes up for the long wait. The food was delicious and much better than the Panda Express nearby. I have found my new favorite local chinese restaurant. Oh by the way my little kids loved it! Definitely toddler approved.?“
“My husband and I were craving Chinese food. We have been in El Paso for a few months now and haven't missed the comfort of Chinese food until last week. I goggled and stopped on Soya's. The pictures looked decent, and the reviews were impressive. We went today, and I have to agree with the others..., the food and service are fantastic. I had chicken and garlic sauce with white rice, no veggies, and my husband had General Tso with fried rice..., and we each had an eggroll. I am so impressed with the flavor, lack of oil, and the firm, non-sticky rice. The eggroll was perfect; crispy outside and moist and fully stuffed inside. The chicken with garlic sauce was not overpowered with too much sauce, and the rice was steamed to perfection. My hubby's General Tso was on point. I had to swipe a piece. It was fried to perfection. Crisp and firm on the outside, juicy, and perfectly cooked on the inside. I didn't try the fried rice, but from his nearly emptied plate..., I would say it was decent. The service was wonderful. The 2 ladies who waited on us were kind, personable, and full of polite customer service. They welcomed everyone who entered. Also, in other reviews, they speak of ventilation concerns. We did not experience any of that. The atmosphere was great, and the restaurant was decent. Please give it a try. You shouldn't be disappointed. I know some are picky, to include myself..., but Soya's passed my test, and we will be back. Guaranteed. Thank you for the wonderful service and food.“
“Not crazy about Chinese food but this place and its people are amazing, Cindy our server was super friendly and fun to interact with, she and another server were excellent and chatted whenever they could. The restaurant is very clean and the food was great, tried their eggs soup and it was the best I had in a while, Cindy recommended other foods to try out but I was already full with the chicken fried rice, the portions are huge and prepared fresh, overall I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.“
“It's best to order on their web page. It seems to be faster than walking inside. The atmosphere is not ideal for most. Unless you don't mind watching Spanish TV inside a Chinese restaurant. The food is not bad beef and broccoli sweet and sour chicken and the egg rolls and egg drop soup are the best in the west part of town.“
“Out of the 10 or so times my family and I have eaten at this Pei Wei in the last two months, we have never been disappointed. The service is always great and the food is fresh and delicious. My wife is constantly recommending Pei Wei to the people at our church for Sunday lunch!“
“Honestly, the food itself is probably the best, most authentic Chinese food I've had in El Paso. They lost a star because I found a hair in my food, but the quality of the dishes is high enough that I'll go back anyway. Their noodles and dumplings are genuinely fantastic.“
“"09/30/2023" So now that i found this waitress named Maria she remembers us & we just sit & our drinks are placed she does a hell of a job always attentive & the tip she gets is cause of the work she does thanks."Old review" Actually, the food was better than the other buffet, the one with the big sushi bar. I actually enjoyed my food & service here“
“Wonderful place to eat with the family. We ordered a variety of dishes and they were all delicious tasting and authentic. The portions were large and we shared most of them. We hope to be back on our next visit. The duck was particularly good and the skewers. Also the orange chicken ?“
“I preferred this buffet for everyone. The buffet is diverse range of dishes, providing a satisfying culinary experience. The variety allowed for different taste preferences, and the freshness of the food was evident. The ambiance was pleasant, making it a great option for casual dining with friends or family.“
“Our first time here and we really liked it but the ramen could have used more broth. The bowl seemed to be less than half full. It was very good. My dad got the lo mein and it was also delicious. They do have the best calamari in El Paso. It was so good. The server was very nice and very attentive. We will be returning.“
“So ever since Chinese cafe closed down on dyer me and my mom can’t find good food like it anywhere! Today we decided to order the rice noodles and the pad noodles they are the best thing I’ve tasted in years we are definitely goin to order more food from here and see what else they have ! Very delicious great job my compliments to the chef !“
“This place is amazing just make sure you pay attention to the time because they charge differently and they might "forget" what time it actually is.Parking: Parking is great, stay away from ojos locos because they come out drunk out of thereKid-friendliness: Super kid friendly, lots of food otionsWheelchair accessibility: They got ramps so you good“
“Great little place with a diverse menu from duck to calamari.Been several times and everything I've had (and the ppl with me) was tasty. The hot n sour soup is not that good, but everything else has been excellent. Very large portions and the service is always on spot.Really good prices and they don't upcharge for extra things like dipping sauce or crunchy noodles.A great go-to spot!“
“My wife and I were running late for a movie and asked them if we had enough time the manager Cesar said NO PROBLEM. We had our entire meal of General Tso's chicken with noodles and two orders of pork scallion dumplings in 10 minutes and 33 seconds. That's faster than any McDonald's or Chick-fil-A in the entirety of El Paso. I give the staff the food and the amazing service my highest recommendation to enjoy some amazing Asian Cuisine.“
“I had an amazing experience with this company that is owned and operated by such a lovely couple. Very welcoming, humble, kind, professional, and trustworthy, the customer service was top-notch, and the food exceeded my expectations. The place is very spacious, plenty of seating. Portions are extremely generous and tasty, perfectly seasoned with so much rich flavor in every bite. In my opinion, it is the best spot in El Paso. I highly recommend that everyone looking for quality food and excellent service eat here.Chicken Vegetables (Main dish in pic)Dinner prices $16.99(Other plates are sides included with each meal at no extra cost)Parking: Free shopping center parking“

“This is my favorite place in the city for Chinese food. The owner is Cantonese, and the food is authentic with great flavor and presentation. The place is small. But so cozy and chill. Try the salt and pepper chicken, especially if spicy is your thing.“
“Fun, open-air atmosphere. Mexican and Chinese food in the same location. Service was fast and everyone was very helpful and polite. Prices are super inexpensive....bottled water for $0.75 and a large portion entree with rice and an egg roll for $6.99.Worth the trip“
“First time trying China 1. Im a huge Chinese food lover and moved here from Las Cruces trying to find a place that could top my favorite place out there. China 1 did just that. Everything was made fresh and tasted amazing. Will definitely be coming back. ?“
“Customer service was friendly and informative when asked what dish entails. The cute place was clean. The food had lots of shrimp. The 3flavors Kung Pao had lots of shrimp, soft beef, and chicken, and the flavor was good. Chicken Chow Mein was delicious. Will definitely go back.Vegetarian options: Good veggie options.“
“Their lunch specials have never disappointed me. The food is good and plenty for the price. They also have a buffet, and I also recommend it. I love that they deliver, you can order for pick up (over the phone) or you can dine in and enjoy the buffet. The buffet is small but they have really good options.“
“This place is somewhere everyone in El Paso needs to try. Everything was very freshly brought out. We also tried the cheese wontons and they were some of the best I’ve had. The orange chicken and egg rolls are also my favorite! New Favorite Chinese place to go to!!“
“Had the pleasure of going to this pei this weekend. I am on vacation here from AZ seeing some family and they said they wanted to go to pei wei. Usually pei wei doesn’t feel special but I think a combination of great service and amazing food with my family made this experience different. The sesame chicken was better than watching Sesame Street when I was a kid. Erica who I believe is the manager helped us out and she was super nice and answered my nieces crazy questions lol! Highly recommend“
“No one was there when I got there, but I put in a to go order. The lady came around a corner and looked at me like I was a foreigner from another country. Maybe I was looking too rough that day. Putting the soup was excellent, and the food was good, too. It's very hot and delicious.“
“My boyfriend and I always choose Li’s as our defacto Chinese food takeout place. Food is always great, service is always good, and it’s the one place I can say has NEVER gotten a to-go order wrong. I always get chicken fried rice and it’s sooooo yummy.“
“The variety was out of this world! We went as a group after mourning with family and everyone had plenty to choose from. I hate to say this may be my future standard when I compare Asian buffets, even if it's improbable I go to Texas again~ Our waitress took our plates efficiently, but was scarce when it came to refilling drinksVegetarian options: Plenty of steamed veggie plates, fruit and salad options, and steamed riceDietary restrictions: While I don't know what restrictions you'd have to follow, I will say they kept each tray stocked so you can easily fill up on any dish“
“As someone who had Chinese food as one of many core selections in cuisine growing up, I've often found myself disappointed by the lackluster offerings in the area – until I stumbled upon the hidden gem Red Wok. This unassuming establishment has quickly become my go-to destination for delectable Chinese fare that genuinely hits the mark.On my latest visit, I indulged in my tried-and-true favorite, the Mongolian beef. Red Wok's rendition of this classic dish is a masterpiece in itself. Generous portions of tender, succulent beef are artfully combined with a garden's worth of flavorful mushrooms, green and white onions, and just the proper chili flakes to provide the perfect kick. Each bite is a delightful explosion of flavors that transport you straight to the heart of authentic Chinese cuisine. The Mongolian beef is expertly complemented by a bowl of fluffy white rice, allowing the rich, savory juices to be fully appreciated. For those seeking an alternative, Red Wok also offers the option of fried rice, but I firmly believe that white rice is the proper accompaniment that lets the main dish shine.Whether you're an avid lover of Chinese food or someone looking to discover a newfound appreciation for this cuisine, Red Wok is an absolute must-visit. This hidden treasure will satisfy even the most discerning palates with its impeccable flavors, generous portions, and undeniable authenticity.“
“we have been going to this restaurant for decades. The owners were trained professionally in China on cooking Asian cuisine. First, they are not a cafeteria and all orders are cooked at the time the order is placed. Based on this, it is possible for someone coming in after you to be served before you depending on the order and how much prep time there is involved. Second, the restaurant was sold a few years ago and the restaurant name was kept and the new owners were trained to keep all recipes the same. I have noticed no change in any of the recipes handed down from the original orders to the new ones. While I have not tried every single recipe on the menu, it is possible the new owners may have made changes. It is their right to do so, but I have yet to notice any differences on any of the menu items we have been ordering for decades. Third, the reviews I have seen online may have indicated the staff is abrupt and or rude. I know the original owners had issues speaking English, and we enjoyed talking with them despite our cultural differences. El Pasoans like to pride themselves on cultural diversity but sometimes those cultural differences might not be tolerated as well as they could be. We believe in supporting small businesses especially those staffed with extremely hard-working people and this is such a business. The quality of the food has not changed for decades, the prices remain within reach, and the owners work tirelessly. I continue to highly rate this tiny restaurant and support them in anyway that I can. 3/17/24, we ordered several meals at once to go for the remainder of the week. The food was excellent and the to go order even included spicy hot mustard which is a minute detail, but a detail we appreciate when you get home with your order. They do an excellent job and appreciate them very much. Everything we ordered was present, nothing missing and everything was prepared perfectly.“
“First time here and greeted walking in, atmosphere great and music nice but not blowing your ears . Our waiter ( Carlos ) was very pleasant and helpful on food selection. I had the Shrimp Chow Mein while my wife had Teriyaki chicken. Food was delicious and served hot. Service was great, we’ll be back. Come try it and you decide. David“
“This place is so tasty and well worth the drive...food is always excellent, just be sure to mention you need your shrimp or salmon fully cooked,a bit pricey but...Kung Pao shrimp and Orange Chicken are the best I've had in the area, nothing else like it around here,I personally enjoy it everytime I go and can't wait to go “
