“My family and I came to Russo's for some pizza. Let me tell you, the food is delicious! The ingredients are fresh and high-quality and the bread dip, soo good. We got the mozzarella fritti, classic pepperoni pizza and chicken alfredo. Everything was great, including the prices!
The food could stand on its own, but we had some of the most outstanding service from our waiter Russsell-some of the best we've ever had.
When we return to SPI, we're definitely stopping here again. An SPI gem, and must-try! Sorry there's no photos, we devoured everything before I remembered to take pics.”

“my girlfriend treated me out to eat today and we decided to eat here since it was close by to where we're at and believe me it was a great choice she made the food was amazing the lemonade was delicious reminded me of eating in Mexico I was in heaven the food was so delicious the environment was so beautiful the restaurant was decorated so beautifully I loved it thank you bestie for a delicious lunch date I also tried tripa for the first time and flan 🍮 and cucumber and it was amazing food”

“You can’t get any drink but the basics. That’s why this place is a great place to start if you are bar hopping. Good strong drinks for the best price on the island. It’s a chill environment, and the owner is a pleasure to talk to. He’s very personable and a great conversationalist.”

“First timer here...I was a bit hesitant in going due to the mixed reviews, but I'm glad we gave it a try. Our server Brandon was phenomenal and the place is nice. It was a bit warm but everything else made up for it. They have some of the best fettuccine alfredo we've tried. Definitely a go to restaurant whenever you're at the island.”

“My mom, daughter and I drove around for a while because most restaurants were packed. Then we drove by this place and saw it wasn't and decided to try it out. It was so good!!! We both got the mexican plate (taco and enchiladas) and daughter got queso and chips (she's picky). All of it was really good. The host and the waiter were cool. “Enjoyed an absolutely gorgeous day on the beach on South Padre Island today, just off of Clayton's Beach Pier. Clayton's served a deliscious taco special, with others in our group, having a great looking fishermans platter, yumm! 😋 We all, enjoyed the beautiful sand sculptures that were still standing proudly for all to enjoy! Kudos to the artists! 👏👏 Thank you Clayton's!”

“This little secret spot is located in a a gas station and has the best breakfast tacos on the island!An older gentleman (I think his name is Lalo) was fast and super sweet!Tacos are AMAZING!!!!!Over 18 options for tacos !Def recommend !!!!”

“Excellent staff. My ring slipped off my pinky while eating. I went back and they happily returned it. It was an irreplaceable ring from the 1920s and a different bubble of reality. Replacing it wasn’t an option.

I will go back to get the employee’s names so I can send a compliment to corporate.”

“We went to Johnny Rockets during the South Padre Island off season and it was fantastic. The vibe was great, the burgers were perfect, and the fries, oh my. I don't know what they cook them in but it's been a long time since I've tasted fries that good. My husband got the strawberry and banana shake and it was obviously hand made because there were still chunks of strawberry's and bananas in it. An added bonus was the gluten free bun they used. It was not dry and crumbly but very much like regular bread. SPI has a gem here. You guys please keep what you're doing because next time we're in the area, we aim to come back!”

“We ordered what was supposed to be strictly vegan ingredients, but my guest noticed some of her dish was being prepared with ingredients that were coming out of cans, and she had expressly asked that she be given no processed food ingredients because of her allergies. The server made sure they left out those items, and we were able to enjoy a good meal. I had the tuna alhi and it was delicious.”

“We absolutely loved the chips and salsa!!! We’ve tried a lot but these were different and delicious. I ordered the bean soup with beef. It was one of the best things I ate on the island. It was loaded and creamy and the chips went great with it.”

“What's to say? On the beach, band, drinks, plenty of tables, chairs. Sat as close to the band and can't talk or in back where you can talk and hear the band. Fantastic place to enjoy with or by yourself to meet others.”

“After going to the restaurant next door and realizing that you had to own a Rolls-Royce to even eat there. We took the family next door to Coconut Jacks and had a great experience. The bacon wrapped shrimp was fire!!!! Me, the wife, and 3 kiddos ate, drank and laughed for a great price.”

“This one of our MUST STOPS when we come to the Island. The food is incredible and very consistent. Service is incredible. The staff makes you feel at home and being in a “tourist destination”, you feel like you’re dining with someone you have known forever!! We will forever stop by every time we are in the area. Did I mention the food is AMAZING and CONSISTENT!!!”

“We stayed on the island 4 nights and ate here TWICE, it was sooooo goood! Their birria tacos were the BEST I've ever had! Our server was very attentive and took care of our large group with ease! We even had fun taking funny pictures in the face cutouts! I give 5 stars!”
