“Today I passed by there and it will be my favorite place. I ordered some chilaquiles in green sauce with eggs and beans, they were delicious.
They served me a Menudo broth if I asked for it and it was 10 out of 10 super and the horchata too.
The waitress was super friendly and the owner too.
And the place is very well decorated and clean.“

The two young guys cooking don't greet and are on their phones! Never saw them wash their hands. Instead of being on the phone they should CLEAN! Wipe their areasand help clean tables. Tables were dirty and has plates on them. Young lady was awesome!“

“When my hubby and I were coming up to the restaurant, one of the employees was helping an elderly patron come out of the restaurant; which really set the tone for the kind of establishment we were coming into. Our server was Victor, who was extremely professional and went above and beyond! Very kind, gave a lot of attention to detail when handling food, drinks and our carry out! My husband got a beer and he asked if he wanted him to serve him and if so, if he wanted a head on the beer, or if he preferred it still! The hospitality was very reminiscent to some of the hospitality and professionalism I’ve received in restaurants in Juarez so if that is something familiar and welcoming to you, you will love this place! The atmosphere was lively, and family friendly! The chef who made our food has really good sazón as our food was soooo good! We ordered a parrillada of carnitas for 2, which could definitely serve up to 4 if I’m being honest. The portions were big and plentiful! Before our meal we were also served chips and salsa and a tortilla soup- which was sooo good, it had cheese mixed into it and was rich in flavor ? Absolutely loved my experience here and definitely recommend!!“

I am originally from El Paso but I live in dallas , And by far these are the BEST tamales ever ! & they are big ( good size ) In El Paso there is a big competition when it comes to authentic tamales and in Dallas there’s literally no where you can find a good tamales . So everytime I come in town this is my first stop ! Literally ! Even when my grandpa comes down to Dallas for thanksgiving or holidays I always send him money to bring me multiple dozens because they are just so delicious! I crave them ! On thanksgiving I’ll be eating these tamales instead of the turkey and big thanksgiving traditional feast the family makes . I’ll even hide the tamales to make them last because once people see some Pepe’s tamales , they all grab , And they don’t just grab one , They grab like 3 at a time . I would highly recommend this place ! Also Jorge who is the beautiful smile you see when you first walk in was literally the nicest most welcoming guy ! He made us feel so special because of the great hospitality he gave us . You definitely don’t get people who are this sweet and happy in life in Dallas . So it’s always great and heart warming to come across people like Jorge ! Pepe’s tamales will definitely be my go to forever in my heart place for literally the rest of my life . No other place could compare .“
