“If this place did not exist, one would need to invent it. The staff is very friendly with the owners being hands on. The atmosphere is bright and airy (even though there are no windows). The bar is very well equipped and the prices will not break anybody's bank. The food served whether or not free or sold is excellent. No bar food here - just good down home stuff.“

“Red River was one of my favorite places while staying in Houston. The owner and staff are amazing people and friendly. It has a very laid back atmosphere with multiple tvs for sports. Highly recommend!“

“I've been here a couple of times and I gotta say it's actually one of the better bars I've been to. I like how attentive the bartenders are regardless of where you sit. They have a pretty good selection of beers on tap!!! The ambience is perfect. The food tastes like they actually care about what they serve!!! I ordered a Royale w/ cheese and loaded spud fries with a tall Modelo draft. They have a jukebox that you can acquire credits for thru your phone (via app). They have 2 pool tables (requires quarters) to play. They have 2 dart boards and 4 slot machines in the corner.“

“Small place that's easy to miss, but I'm glad we didn't. I was there for breakfast withfriends. We all ordered chilaquiles and it was a hit. Everyone scarfed it done and left feeling full and happy. The guy at the counter was really friendly. I'll be back soon“

“First, go here to just meet Louie. Second, to experience his cocktails. The ultimate mixologist and person all around. They do not have food but you can order Becks Prime and get it brought out to you on the patio. The ambiance of their patio is unbelievable with the beautiful 400 year old trees. A must to visit!“

All the bartenders are fantastic, great company and super quick with the drinks!
Atmosphere is great, pool tables are fun and music is always perfect.
Lastly food is surprisingly great. Wings, chicken sandwiches, CRAWFISH is all amazing.“
