“My husband and I were driving through Johnson City on our way to Fredericksburg and found this awesome food truck!! You never really know what you’re getting with a random food truck but OMG 😳 I ordered the cast iron hash and my husband ordered the scramble! They both were beyond delicious!!! The layers of flavors were to die for!! What a wonderful experience and a grand surprise! The owners were so very nice! I would recommend this food truck and rate it a 10 out of 10!!! Amazing food and a cute couple as owners! I’m so impressed!”

“We ate at Leroy’s this afternoon to reconfirm what we thought first time we ate here. I’m reporting in to say that yep, it was just as good this time as our first time! We both had a taco first time: L had brisket taco and I had a pulled pork taco. Yum yum. Beans were also very good. And a peach cobbler for dessert. Delicious. Today we each had an order of street tacos. Also came with beans and a grilled pepper on the side. Another yum yum. And once again, peach cobbler…this time with ice cream. Very nice staff that checked on us several times. You can count on us, Leroy’s, as becoming regular customers!!!”

“I got to try Hye Cider at H‑E‑B and I was surprised! I’m not much of a cider person but wow this actually tasted really good! I really like the flavor of the Hye Heaven, it’s more sweet but not overly sweet which is just the taste I go for nowadays. I definitely recommend!”

“Until I can make it to Texas, I’m bringing Diamond Vineyards to me in central New York! I ordered a shipment with selections of Tempranillo, Tannat, Mourvedre, and Melee and loved them all! Shipping was easy with lots of options and the wine was packed with care. I can see why the Tempranillo is a favorite with a unique flavor and warm rich feel perfect for a cold snowy night by the fire. I will replenish my stash and hope to visit the source, soon. “This is an absolute no miss place. Lots of interesting beverages to try, including a selection of spicy drinks - my favorite. The owner, Barb, creates a welcoming and fantastically fun atmosphere with her personality, available games, and local crafts for sale. We meet several really cool locals. If we lived closer we'd hang out all the time!”

“Recommended by an acquaintance. About 6 miles North of town in an old Sinclair gas station. A small bar and 4 tables. Menu choice was a DinoBLT or hot wings. We went for the BLT. Order at the bar, no table service. BLT's came out in a paper sack. Bottle beer and canned soda are the beverage options, no water. Could well be the best BLT I ever had. $10.00. Weekends The menu changes to DinoBurger $20.00 and wings. Would have come back for that but left town the next day. While waiting around for food, wander through the service bay.”

Out of all the wineries we visited, this one truly stood out — it’s one in a million! Their wine collection features top-tier brands from overseas, and each bottle we tried was exceptional. Mr. Alexander, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his collection — he made the experience both educational and fun. Alexander Vineyards also has an amazing wine club and hosts monthly events with live music and exquisite food — definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area regularly. “I've never been to the brick & mortor location, but man I look for their beers every single time at HEB. It's a hard 1 to find on the shelves, but if you can get their Altibier (green label) in glass bottles, you've struck gold! I've had the Kolsch, Lager & Altbier & all of them are superb. Sometimes I will travel 35 miles just to get that green label. Highly recommend!”
