“Choosing Dawaat, owned by Mahesh Uncle, as our wedding caterer was one of the best decisions we made! Mahesh Uncle was a tremendous help throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect—from organizing tastings for each of our events to accommodating special requests and managing the long list of allergies some of our guests had. He was incredibly supportive through all the stressful moments, and he even worked within our budget without compromising on quality or service.
His staff was professional, polite, and attentive, making everything flow seamlessly on the big day. And the food? It was unforgettable. Even a year later, our guests are still talking about it! We’ve already used Dawaat for multiple events since, and each time the food is just as amazing as we remembered. If you’re looking for a caterer who truly cares and delivers incredible food, I can’t recommend Mahesh Uncle and Dawaat enough.“
“These guys are the best! I had the pleasure of ordering some food to take to San Marcos, TX for the weekend of my son’s graduation. To say the food was delicious is an understatement. I fed the whole family for the weekend (Brisket, chicken, beans, potato salad. And they provide all the fixings, jalapeños, pickles, bread, BBQ sauce, plastic utensils, plates, all packed neatly in containers.), pleasing the most picky eater, my father! He even wants to order some the next time he’s in Houston, to take back to Louisiana! They definitely have a new customer in me!“

Boy, can this guy cook! 3 of my dining friends had Sour Cream Enchiladas. The portions were most ample so there was take home, but they all raved about the flavor and freshness of the dish.
I have been on a Chile Relleno in Katy quest since Chuy’s quite offering their crispy Rellenos. I should have had them tonight, but instead opted for the beef fajita Queso Flameado’s. A HUGE portion of bubbling cheese and onion interspersed with lots of Fajita meat. This dish is unbelievably delicious!
Yes, I know I should have taken pictures, but we all devoured the meal.
El Asador also has a large party room that held 35 tonight.
If you haven’t been, you owe it to your “Love of Latin” food to stop in at El Asador. Tell Pablo, who is ALWAYS there, Great Day from me!“

“I absolutely LOVE this cater Service, my Best Friend had an issue with the original cater to his Wedding, and I was recommended to Claudia and her Ginn’s Gourmet cater company. I helped my friend by contacting her and asked the questions. Not only was she prompt to answers but was able to work with the situation providing options and guiding us to adjust to the budget. The wedding was small but definitely the food was a 5 stars quality, we lover her special sauce. There where a lot of comments about how good and delicious was the food. “The fruit kolaches 100% authentic Czech. My mother and her parents were 100% Czech, so I kinda know. The meat kolaches are a Texasized/Mexi variation. Never get them, not Czech. You want Texas? Go to a BBQ! Want Mex (Tex-Mex) go to a Mexican place. Zillions of both in Houston. Olde Towne Kolaches PRIMO for fruit kolaches :)

“Some people have you at hello. Chef Dee had us at Crawfish Mac and cheese. Our tasting was love at first bite! All our guests raved about how good the food was! It was delicious, fresh, and hot.
