If you're a kolache fan you need to try Olde Towne Kolaches. I've been to several kolache shops in Houston and I often travel between Austin and Houston so I have been to Hruska's in Ellinger and Wiekel's in La Grange many times. I think Olde Towne kolaches are the best. In fact, they recently won both Grand and Reserve champion in the professional category at the Caldwell Kolache Festival, which is the top honor you can get in Texas.
