“We were hungry for meat, been in Galveston for the last 7 days , we ate good but mostly seafood and a lot of it !! So looked on TripAdvisor to find good meat , And Big Smiths looked good , so off we went !! And it was the best BBQ I have ever had in Texas !! We both ordered 1/2 rack of Pork Ribs the were fork tender and so good !!“

“Had lunch today with my Sisters, we always like to go when we're in the area. We enjoy the food and atmosphere. However today the waitress dropped hot gravy on my arm, yes it did burn. I am 65 and a diabetic so it burned awhile longer I guess. She did apologize of course but I would have thought that they would have discounted my food or threw in dessert at least. My Sisters agreed, not great Customer Service/experience. while I can't say anything bad about the food, it was good as usual. Thanks, Dallas, Tx.“
