“Good was lovely … only complaint I have is the staff with the To-go orders I ordered twice in one day and both times they messed the order up so if you do order online make sure to check your items they forgot my drink a1 sauce for the steak and sauce for my broccoli second time I was missing my bread and silverware and drink . Please be considerate of those who order to-go treat them as if we are dining in thank you .“

“Went to Eddie V’s Downtown Austin with a group and had a great experience. The service was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly for a larger table.

The food was really good. I had the sea bass, which is one of my favorites anywhere, and it did not disappoint. We finished with the crème brûlée with berries, which was light, not too sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal.

“PERFECT!!! That's what describes last night's experience at Bartlett's. My wife ordered the Fish and Shrimp with a small Caesar salad and I got their Famous French Dip sandwich. Everything cooked to perfection!! Our waiter Jeff L was right there every we needed something. An EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE (Again). Have been coming here since 1984 and never a bad experience.“

“The food was delicious and we loved being able to order a bunch of sides to dine family style. While there was no smaller steak portion than 16oz, my husband and I happily shared it and it was more than plenty for 2. The waitress was great, super attentiive and patient with a group of 8 who did a lot of talking before being ready to order. The rolls and jalapeno cornbread were delish, the green beans amazing and the macaroni and cheese was decadent. We loved the desert..sad the carrot cake was out, but the pumpkin cheesecake was delicous as was the montrosity of tiramisu chocolate cake. The ambiance was great and we enjoyed being very relaxed and not rushed to enjoy the conversation and the dinner.“

“Service was great, atmosphere was okay watched football game and celebrated my kiddos good grades. The server was polite, funny and always there when you needed her. Husband had the steak, I had teriyaki chicken and of course kiddo chicken tenders fries. The bartender was a little loud and upset someone was sat in her area and let the entire bar area know about it. She was a little rude about it. So I calmly asked if it was because we were sat near there we can go some where else. Our waitress said no. It is so unfortunate that people are so unhappy and have to act this way and others hear it.“

So sad it's closing its doors for the summer dam Texas heat that's the reason they closing if you haven't heard.. “We were in town visiting from Florida and stopped at different steakhouse restaurants in the area. However, none felt inviting and there was always a reason to not sit us for service. Except when we walked into Bob's. The friendliness at the door is what did it for us. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We will come back to Bob's on our next visit and skip all the other restaurants from now on. Thank you for the great service and for having such friendly staff.“

“I found the food to be a little different my filet mignon was not what I expected it was an 7 the lobster was an eight I found out it's also on the new ownership. The wings are really good to give them a 10 the tortilla soup was not what I expected 7.5 the waitress was phenomenal and the atmosphere was phenomenal.“

Sit at the bar and order the crab cakes, seared ahi tuna with wasabi, steak sampler with Maker’s Mark bourbon and jalapeño horseradish. The brownie and the tres leches are to die for. Brooke and Michael make delicious drinks and pair the perfect wines with each course.“

“With our four grown children enjoying Thanksgiving with their in-laws, we decided to try the special 3-course Thanksgiving Dinner at Ruth Chris downtown location. It far exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional (Makenzie and the Wine Manager), attentive and unrushed. The turkey dinner was fabulous, and we were even sent home prepped leftover Take Home packs. Would highly recommend this over expensive hotel holiday buffets that charge twice as much.“
