My rating is actually 3.5/5 stars, but I gave you the bump to 4 (even though it could've gone to a 3)
This JITB has two routes. Either THE BEST fast food, OR the most LACKLUSTER.
I live nearby any frequent quite often.
Either you get exactly what you ordered, fresh and hot. Or you get what I got today (ordered online, a first and probably last for that)
Got two munchie meals. Clucks for each sandwich. One meal with the normal tacos/curly fries. The other meal was SUPPOSED to me the sandwich and just normal fries and curly fries. It seems like the workers just saw the first meal and duplicated it, because my meal (2nd I described with just fries) was ignored and we got two of the same meals. No napkins or sauces either.
A LOT of the time this location will run out of ingredients or items all together (I put blame on who handles shipping, not necessarily the crew who make the food). Sometimes the food doesn't taste the best quality, depending on if they got in a new shipment or not
Speaking of the crew, 9/10 times are all pleasant to interact with and are usually pretty great, but that 1/10 times is a (younger) member who seems like they just do NOT care about anything, especially their job.
Sometimes they (the whole store) get behind on orders, but that's usually during their busy hours. There have been times when food being made fresh takes time but no longer than 5 minutes extra. The longest I have waited for my meal has maybe been 30-45 minutes. The crew does usually make it right if they/you catch a mistake.
I've gotten food remade or comped for issues
Haven't been inside often, just usually use the drive through. But from what I've experienced, it's quaint, chill and clean. Even experienced the crew enjoying themselves and others, which is a nice replacement over the typical fast food environment where it feels like the entire crew hates you/talks behind your back
Overall I do recommend this Jack in the Box location, depending on time of day and IF they have everything in stock.
(It is in a busy location right off the highway so the traffic can be STUPID sometimes, but that's not JitB fault)“
“Last time I came in here the girls behind the counter where yelling and fighting the hole time i was waiting for my food. This time when i came in the young guys where respectful and quick with my oder. A big improvement from last time. Even double check my order to be sure that everything was there and right.“
