Love the different events they have been having. The Singo Bingo was a lot of fun this evening! Fun to meet new people and just have a good time. We also enjoyed the Casino Night that was held at The Blue Lagoon. Again fun and good times.“

“The food was excellent but don't save space for a dessert. Eat all your great food because desserts are Only $10 which sounds like a deal but you only get 2 or 3 bites. It is really a shame because the food is great so you would think the desserts would be too!!!! I personally felt a little rushed by the wait staff and the waitress even told us she had another table and had to hurry off.“

“I recently hired Gator's Bar and Grill to cater a small private party held on Tiki Island. Gator's owner, Marjorie Morgan was awesome to work with. Her and her team are experts when it comes to catering. I asked for a more upscale menu palate. I know, most think of Gator's as a casual dining experience but Marjorie and Chef Lena delivered exactly what I was thinking. From the initial contact, to the location walk through, the meal prep, table set up and then the meal served, they made it stress free. I asked for a girly salad- a strawberry, walnut spinach with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. The main course was grilled 6 oz beef tenderloin filets- grilled on site with a yummy garlic parmesan potatoes with a creamy peppercorn sauce and sauté asparagus. Dessert was a cheesecake mousse. It was all fantastic. Dinner was planned to be served outside with a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the lovely coastal sea fog rolled in just as Dinner was to be served. Marjorie and her staff quickly switched gears and flawlessly moved main course inside. Our guests were very impressed with how they perfectly executed all of our requests. If you are thinking of catering an event, Marjorie and Chef Lena are who you should call. Don't let her restuarant name fool you into thinking they only do bar food. They were a class act that will rival any high end restuarant. Thanks again, Marjorie, Chef Lena, Corey and Keith. You all made our small event a success“

“I really enjoyed eating at Jetty’s during my stay at the hotel. The food was cooked well and tasted good. We were a party of three and we all enjoyed our food. We had a comfortable window seat booth and their customer service was excellent. No complaints.“

“Despite a terrible experience I had at this restaurant from a very horrible waitress with a nasty attitude, the manager, Charlie Bowie really stepped in and took the correct approach necessary to resolve this issue for me and took it in consideration that something like this would never happen again. Based on my conversation with him, he really values customer service. Which makes me want to go back and eat there again in the near future. This is exactly the kind of mindset every managers and business owners should portray and I comment Topwater Grill to have this kind of management. Thanks so much! “Placed a mobile order at Burger King today, and the pickup process went smoothly. The staff were nice enough, although they lacked a bit in personality.

The food was cooked well and served hot, which was great. However, I do have one major gripe: the amount of mayonnaise on the Whoppers. Both our Texas Whoppers and the Impossible Whopper had an insane amount of mayonnaise, which was quite gross, to be honest. We could only get through a portion of our meals because it became too much.

Other than that, everything else was good with our visit. If they could just dial back on the mayo, it would have been a much better experience.“

“Lunch times are better, but had a weekend breakfast and it seemed a little off. Waitress didn't smile at all. Maybe not having a good morning.
Bacon was stick in clumps, sausage patties were pink on one side and over cooked on other side. Coffee tasted watered down. Pastries were delicious.“

“Omg my son’s boss told him about Kelley’s and we had never ate there. We had just got off our 9-day cruise & wanted some serious comfort food. Kelley’s definitely fit the bill. Homemade hand-battered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes/gravy, fried okra, salad & fresh rolls! All servings were HUGE and delicious 😋 all for $16. I ate off of my lunch 3 times! We will def be back. Amanda was our server & she was on top of everything & great service. We were only disappointed that they were out of the Texas size homemade biscuits from the breakfast run. If you’ve never ate there before u gotta try it and u will be back.“

“This place is fancy schmancy but the food is pretty bleh. Had the chicken and waffles and there just wasn’t much taste. The whiskey infused syrup tasted a lot like syrup and the honey something butter tasted a lot like butter. They even described the blackberries which turned out to be two. Overall, food was fine but quite expensive. Atmosphere is lovely. Don’t think we will be coming back.“

I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." A MUST when in the area or traveling to Galveston. 5 stars all the way...they treat you like family.“

Food is hot and fresh made to order open kitchen so you can watch him prepare your order. I also like how he is super helpful with questions or substitutions and the drive-thru is a nice touch. Some would say the interior is dated but I would say it has a charm to it. I will definitely be back to try other food here I had the jalepeno double double burger & spicy fried chicken sandwich both huge, hot, & fresh with perfectly seasoned crinkle cut fries with a side of bbq & hot sauce.“
