“I had breakfast yesterday for the first time here, and the food was amazing. My friend had the banana and Nutella crepes. She said they were delicious. I had scrambled eggs and ham and the portions were awesome. Our server Isaac was excellent. We plan to return and try having lunch. I would recommend this little cafe, it's very spacious, the service is excellent; the food is delicious, and the coffee is great“

“My wife and I eat breakfast almost every weekend after our morning workout. It’s a little bit of “our time” on the weekend and the staff and food has always been great. But a few weeks ago they were busy and although the meal was good the service was a little lacking and upon checkout our server’s assistant was short and seemed irritated. We were surprised and as we left were talking about it and hostess overheard and we saw her go back and immediately say something to our server. We chalked it up to being short staffed and busy. Came back the next week and everything was great. Came again today and everything was great AND our server from the bad day waited on us and was great. Here’s the part that impressed me, as we were checking out she stopped and apologized for the service from a couple weeks before, didn’t make excuses, said she’d addressed the issue with her assistant and thanked us for coming back. Apologizing is a lost art, and we appreciated it so much that not only did she not get defensive she remembered the situation, it had clearly been on her mind since that day and she wanted to make it right. That tells me Barney’s is here for the long haul and has leadership that is inspiring the employees. Great job Barney’s! We will continue to our weekend breakfast dates for a long long time.“

“Sitting in a booth, waiting on our food, and wanted to leave a review strictly on the quality of service!!! We were greeted outside with the manager holding the door open for us, we were immediately sat, and our server, Aleny, is the kindest! I came in with a coffee that wasn’t great, and she offered to take it to the back and put their own syrup in it! Usually, places will tell you no outside food or drinks so this was very refreshing! “The location on Preston just south of Park in Plano was convenient and lots of parking was available this past Friday at 9am. The ambiance with the Orange lamp shades and green leather upholstery, nice booths, is up-market and uplifting. We were surprised that it was not busy but perhaps 9am on Friday is already the tail end of breakfast?
Ahsanii was our server and really made the experience for us delightful. She knew her menu, had great suggestions, and had a happy and joyful demeanor. Without doubt, a server like Ahsanii makes the difference no matter what reputation a restaurant may have. She checked in regularly, ensured our food was out on time, and our coffee was topped up. The food was great and well presented.
