When we got the menu, firstly we saw prices almost as same as with another restaurant.

“If I could give Aroma 10 stars, I absolutely would!

This was our first visit, but it definitely will not be our last. I ordered the Zucchinata, and my wife had the Traditional breakfast. Everything was incredibly fresh, delicious, and presented just as beautifully as it looks in the menu photos. The breakfast potatoes on my wife’s plate were cooked to absolute perfection.

We also shared the Very Berry French Toast, and it has to be one of the best French toasts in town—and we are big brunch people! It was beautifully presented, loaded with fresh berries, and every bit as delicious as it looked.

I especially have to recognize our server. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but through our conversation, I learned that he is the owners’ son. As a restaurant owner myself, I was so impressed by his personality, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality that I almost wanted to recruit him for my own restaurant! Once I found out he was the owners’ son, I understood why he took such pride in taking care of every detail. It was easily some of the best service we have received anywhere in quite some time.

I also love that Aroma is a family-owned and family-oriented restaurant. I feel a special connection to places like this and genuinely enjoy supporting them. I cannot recommend Aroma enough. The food, presentation, atmosphere, and exceptional service were all outstanding. We will absolutely be back and bring more people with us.“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

“Once again a fantastic meal! I almost got breakfast for lunch but suddenly I saw the roast beef and havarti cheese sandwich and got the cheesy grits as my side. Okay, that was ridiculously good! The cheesy grits will be a new additional, and addictive, side on future breakfasts for sure! The sandwich had two big roles of roast beef so it was a tasty and hearty meal! Heaven help me if they ever make a BLT or a burger with their million dollar bacon!“

“I had breakfast yesterday for the first time here, and the food was amazing. My friend had the banana and Nutella crepes. She said they were delicious. I had scrambled eggs and ham and the portions were awesome. Our server Isaac was excellent. We plan to return and try having lunch. “My wife and I eat breakfast almost every weekend after our morning workout. It’s a little bit of “our time” on the weekend and the staff and food has always been great. But a few weeks ago they were busy and although the meal was good the service was a little lacking and upon checkout our server’s assistant was short and seemed irritated. We were surprised and as we left were talking about it and hostess overheard and we saw her go back and immediately say something to our server. We chalked it up to being short staffed and busy. Came back the next week and everything was great. Came again today and everything was great AND our server from the bad day waited on us and was great. Here’s the part that impressed me, as we were checking out she stopped and apologized for the service from a couple weeks before, didn’t make excuses, said she’d addressed the issue with her assistant and thanked us for coming back. Apologizing is a lost art, and we appreciated it so much that not only did she not get defensive she remembered the situation, it had clearly been on her mind since that day and she wanted to make it right. That tells me Barney’s is here for the long haul and has leadership that is inspiring the employees. Great job Barney’s! We will continue to our weekend breakfast dates for a long long time.“
