“The decor is deceptive.. the place feels like a diner and isn't decorated with many warm elements. The music selection is an odd Latin/South American dance mix and though it matches the decor, it's a bit of a contrast with the food and the service. The food, first, was absolutely amazing. The hummus was so good and made with high quality ingredients and olive oil. One of the people in our party ate it directly out of the bowl with a spoon. The restaurant serves a lentil soup that had a really pleasing exotic blend of flavors, enhanced with sourness from either lemon or tomato. One of our party got a lamb tower and the meat was so tender and juicy.. It was definitely marinated at least overnight. I had a gyro.. the gyro was passable, but I'll be ordering a tower the next time I go back. The seasoned fries were amazing! We had a vegan in our party who really enjoyed the lentil soup and grilled vegetables. We didn't try the falafel, but they have it there. For dessert, we tried the cream puffs and baklava. The cream puffs had a pleasant mouth feel and were made of a light dough. When you bit down on them, they'd suddenly make a satisfying pop, releasing a cream that wasn't too sweet and had a taste reminiscent of ice cream. The baklava wasn't a typical filo dough pastry. It was a horseshoe shaped, rolled up, light and flaky pastry filled with minced pistachio in the center. I'd recommend both. The service was great! Our waitress was warm and friendly and her personality was super authentic! Did a great job of explaining dishes to us. Attentive and engaging without being overbearing. She genuinely seemed to like what she was doing and really enhanced the experience. Not necessarily the best setting for a formal dinner, but a great place to go get some really tasty Mediterranean food in a relaxed setting.Vegetarian options: Falafel, salads, grilled vegetablesKid-friendliness: Unpretentious atmosphere.. music is a bit loud, so kids won't disrupt the atmosphere.“
“This is one of our favorite places to eat by far. Everything is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. So friendly and welcoming. But I can't wait to go back every time I leave. It's that delicious . My family loves eating here , we always agree to go back. ENJOY“
“Ordered chicken from here. It was char grilled to PERCECTION and was full of flavor. It also came with four different delicious sauces and perfectly made fragrant rice and salad. What a great deal and a generous amount of food. Could feed two people. I highly recommend this “
“Pita Shawarma is an absolute gem! The food is mouthwatering, bursting with flavor in every bite. From the savory shawarmas to the delectable sides, every dish is crafted to perfection. What truly sets Pita Shawarma apart is their exceptional service. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly, making every visit a delightful experience. Whether you're a shawarma enthusiast or just craving some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, Pita Shawarma is a must-visit destination!“
“We recently hosted a private event at Giovanni’s Mediterranean and Italian Cuisine for approximately 130 people. Alex and his wife were wonderful hosts! We were delighted by the bountiful buffet style set up and charmed by the individual hors d’oeuvres provided. The staff were quick to clear plates and were very attentive to guests. We could not have been more pleased. Highly recommend!“
“We had the best experience here! We tried multiple menu items and enjoyed everything! Definitely would recommend the chips and salsa to start your night off! Tried some different drinks and the sangria was definitely good. Really enjoyed that the bar manager came and chatted with us. Looking forwards to returning.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“Enjoyed another excellent meal courtesy of Gorji and team last evening. The atmosphere is great; dim with candles and interesting music from Latin to French and everything in between. The wine list is incredible and tweaked often by Gorji who writes his own personal notes on the menu to assist in selection. Loved ours so much we took a bottle home.We had the sea bass and filet, grapefruit and prosciutto salads and ice cream and kefir with coffee. However, we’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is always impeccable and Gorji and team are most gracious hosts, greeting you upon arrival and seeing you off at the end of the meal. In a way you are their guest. The food is expertly, creatively, and I imagine lovingly prepared. Please be aware, it is not a place for children. Cell phone use is prohibited (love this). It is small with 5 tables. Parking is tight even though he has several reserved places. Plan ahead and/or take an Uber. The parking lot also has a golf cart shuttle. Don’t plan on ordering soft drinks or beer. It’s not that sort of place. Review the offerings in advance which are absolutely incredible and special in every way. I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed, yet it may not be for everyone. This establishment is incredibly unique and very special. Truly a treasure of Dallas/Addison. If you have not visited Gorji you should put it on your to-do list. Then make your reservation and enjoy some of the best food our area has to offer (evidenced by his many awards). And, no tipping.“
“Dua Trattoria is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by discerning foodies and casual diners alike. Our recent visit to this charming eatery left us impressed by their culinary delights and impeccable service. Stepping into Dua Trattoria, you're greeted with an ambiance that effortlessly blends elegance with warmth. The soft glow of ambient lighting sets the stage for an enchanting evening, enhanced further live music that fill the air. A guitarist seamlessly transitions to a violinist, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the atmosphere but not drowning out conversation. Our experience began with a friendly server who guided us through the menu with expertise, ensuring that our drinks were promptly delivered and our orders swiftly taken. As we perused the enticing array of appetizers, we opted to share a selection of starters: the Cevapi, the popette (meatballs), and the Burek. Each bite was a revelation of flavors, from the robust savory notes of the meatballs to the delicate flakiness of the Burek, filled with a luscious potato mixture. For my main course, I indulged in the Duas, a sumptuous medley of fettuccine adorned with jumbo shrimp, mussels, anchovies, capers, and olives, all bathed in a spicy Mediterranean sauce. This was a harmonious marriage of flavors, each ingredient complementing the next with a perfect balance of saltiness and zest. I found myself savoring every mouthful, and finished the entire dish. Credit must be given to Nick and his dedicated team, who have crafted a menu that transcends the ordinary, offering delightful surprises at every turn. Dua Trattoria is not your typical Italian restaurant; it's a culinary oasis where innovation and tradition converge to create unforgettable dining experiences. Whether you're planning a gathering with friends or a romantic evening for two, Dua Trattoria provides the perfect backdrop for any occasion. With attentive staff, exceptional service, and an array of mouthwatering dishes to delight the senses, it's no wonder that my companions and I left with plans to return. If you're seeking a dining destination where every detail is thoughtfully curated, look no further than Dua Trattoria.“
“This location could cure world hunger. I came in this evening to grab a couple of bowls and Jalil and Daniel were super helpful. I made a mistake in my friend’s order and Jalil was able to fix it easily and with excellent customer service. You can tell they enjoy working together and make a dream team. Thank you guys so much!“
“We loved their paneer tikka fries and sweet potato fries the most. Their wraps were alright. Our friends got the falafel and chicken wraps and felt they were a bit bland and had less protein filling in them. When we return here it’d be for the paneer tikka fries ❤️“
“Great small restaurant with impeccable food. I ordered the lamb shank and it was perfectly cooked. The companion rice was layered and had great flavor as well.I would note the prices are a bit higher than other places, but if you’re looking for high quality Greek food- this is the spot!“

“Best Mediterranean food my family was looking for in Frisco/Plano area. Their vegetarian custom Platter with Falafel and all other sides is mouth watering! Baklava was delicious ?Vegetarian options: Please ask for vegetarian options and take the platter with hot pita bread.“
“Olive Burger has become our family go to restaurant. Their burgers are always consistent and excellent in taste! Their fries and onion rings are a family favorite and my personal favorite is their grilled chicken Caesar wrap…service is super fast and it is budget friendly!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a family oriented environment and excellent fast food with healthy options!!“
“First time I went here it was with a friend and the food wasn’t the freshest. Second time was with my family and my wife was very happy and how clean the food was, can’t really complain for this quantity of Halal food and variety. Don’t expect the whole Lotta flavor though.“
“After a long day of working, me and my business partner showed up to the restaurant at 9:55pm hungry and tired, 10mins till close, Sole really looked out, she told us she would take care of us and got us our order and gave us phenomenal customer service. Literally made our night after a long day and the food was amazing. Thank you Sole!!“
“We visited on 3/7/2024, The food was phenomenal, all fresh , all taste excellent, and came out in a timely manner Had a very friendly server that attended to all our needs. I would definitely visit there again.I had the Humus with Mushrooms, the salad spread and shawarma pita, my wife had the schnitzel pita. We both ordered more to go before we headed home.Vegetarian options: Plenty of salads in the menu as well as HumusParking: There were plenty of spots in the parking lot outside the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: No ramp or steps to get in, plenty of room to move within the restaurant“
“This place did not disappoint at all. We had the lentil soup at the beginning, it was very flavorful and was one of the best lentil soup i tried so far. We then got the super mix kebab platter, it was a lot of food for 2 people but I’m not going to complain about that. The chicken kebab was very tender and juicy, it was well marinated and seasoned as well. The adana kebab, beef kofte, lamb kebab and lamb chops had a perfect amount of salt and pepper and was very tender as well, it was perfectly cooked. At the end I ordered my favorite desert, kunefe and black tea. Kunefe was crispy from outside and cheese inside, it was perfect balance. The black tea was a little watered down, did not taste much like tea I make at home but kunefe really stole the show so I did not care much. The staff was very nice and they were very quick when it came to bringing our food to the table, they even let us reserve a table and order food on the phone because we were late for iftar.Overall, its a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking authentic flavors. Whether you're craving soul-warming soups or succulent kebabs, this establishment promises a culinary journey worth savoring.“
“What a superb experience we had ordering from Zorba's!Mousakka, dolmas, Grecian chicken, patitsio, and a large salad was enjoyed tremendously.Followed up with decadent baklava, baklava cheesecake, and rice pudding. They even had gluten free pita bread!Everything was so delicious and very little talking at the table due to all the great food!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pita bread“
“Absolutely amazing food, service and clean. Wail the GM makes sure that you feel at home and have everything you need. He went out of his way to take care of us and explain everything since it was our first time there. Definitely coming back.“
“I recommend making a reservation for this place since it is extremely popular on a Saturday night. Our server was friendly and welcoming. He took great care to apologize for our wait.Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the meatballs. The bread was absolutely amazing! The chicken sandwich was outstanding. Best fig salad I have ever tasted. The gyro platter was good, but the accompanying potatoes were unseasoned. I would skip the board as an appetizer. I enjoyed the cocktails as well. We are looking forward to going back.“
“The service in this establishment is excellent with a very friendly staff who will greet you and treat you great until you leave! We even left a phone in the bathroom and they found it and kept it until we were able to pick it up. They have a 14.99$ buffet option and the food choices are amazing!!! I strongly recommend the beef kabob, gyro meat, tabuleh, lamb, and believe it or not, this Mediterranean spot even has an amazing quesadilla!!!! The ambiance is great, quiet, and they cater events!!! This is one of my favorite spots in Dallas!!! A hidden gem!“
“We dined in the restaurant and ordered a chicken hummus pita, chicken shawarma, steak kabobs and a side of dolmas. Yummy! We really enjoyed how fresh everything tasted. I haven’t had fresh Greek food for years and this was the fix I needed. The owner came out and greeted me and even took the time explain everything they make fresh (which is everything bar three items - which is pretty darn good!). She seemed surprised that we had driven a short drive out of our way to visit their restaurant and also seemed genuinely humbled by this. We WILL be back many times if the food, atmosphere and service stays as it is! Try the hummus and the garlic sauce, they are so good!!!“
“My daughter and I stopped by for the first time today for dinner for the family. We ordered 2 chicken plates, some gyro fries, and a beef gyro combo. Everything tasted great! We all were satisfied with the presentation of the to go containers to keep the food warm, too. Thanks for the great customer service and fresh food prepared with care. We will for sure come back for another meal.“
“We hosted a party with 52 people. The service was amazing. Great Zabiha halal 3-course meal, perfectly setup and everyone enjoyed the food!! ?The meat was also fresh and the atmosphere was clean!! ❤️Will definitely come back!?Kid-friendliness: They served the kids nuggets and fries which the kids enjoyed and they were fulfilled.“
“Rose Mediterranean catered our wedding's reception -- and we loved it! They were communicative and flexible; even produced items that weren't on their normal menu. The chicken kabob was tender and juicy, and the eggplant ghormeh sabzi was SO flavorful. Everything was DELICIOUS, and we're not just saying that because it was our wedding -- our guests raved all night, calling it the best wedding food they've ever had! Cannot recommend them enough. The attached photos, are just of the appetizers (in the craziness of the day, we forgot to capture the buffet).“
“I went to get lunch with my friends a couple days ago, our overall experience was great, can’t complain. Cashier was great, really friendly. Our food didn’t take too long and everything was fresh! I had a salad on the side and everything was fresh which is great! Had a great lunch, and we will definitely visit soon again !“
“If you are looking for a home cooked style breakfast this is the place! However that is not the most impressive thing about this restaurant. The ladies who work front of the house are amazing! I took my daughter this morning after spending all night in the ER and the ladies were patient and kind with her the entire time we were dining in!“
“Great food and generous portions, and honestly you can taste the freshness in their salads and freshly chopped parsley in tabouleh. Authentic flavors in the kefta sandwiches and Gyros that are so much better than the halal guys down the street. Their lentil soup is good too. We ve been coming here about once or twice a month for years and we have never been disappointed .“
“I had a wonderful meal at Cava! I visited with my family recently. The staff was great, super kind, and helpful. The meal they put together was delicious and fresh. Since there was so much, I was able to enjoy leftovers. I highly recommend this place and its location especially!“
“I’ve been to different locations in different states. The food is always good. My favorite is the spicy chicken with avocado. Either as a bowl or on pita bread. The pita chips on this occasion didn’t taste fresh. The service was blah. They weren’t very friendly. Nobody looked like they wanted to be there, in my opinion.“
“Although I like the food, their service is absolutely awful. Only one person taking your order and one cashier. The wait is absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable. Hire more people. At $20.00 plus dollars a bowl once done getting the things one likes, Cava can hire more employees and make the wait time much painless. Not sure if I'll go back!!!“
“As soon as you walk in the smell will make you hungry. I got the lamb plate with brown rice and chickpeas and it was delicious. The lamb was cooked just right and was not stringy. Takes 15 minutes so ordering on the website is a great idea. Definitely will be back.“
“This place is awesome! We live in Southern Illinois and when traveling we look for Greek Style/Mediterranean restaurants. We were greeted promptly and with a smile. They have a lunch buffet with lots of good options which my wife chose. I wanted lamb kabobs so I ordered off the menu. The staff is very friendly and the waiter was checking on us to make sure everything came out the way we wanted it to. If I lived closer I would eat here EVERY week.“
“First time here. Ordered the chicken pita and wrap. Fresh but not filling. Their rice is very flavorful. Kids menu has interesting items like pita cheeseburger, chicken skewer with rice etc.Vegetarian options: HummusKid-friendliness: Kids menu is available here.“
“First time visitors and we are fans! The whole family - including my foodie husband and two grandkid enjoyed their meal. Everything was fresh and delicious! We especially liked the gyro, fresh pita and hummus and the burger. And the staff and manager provided friendly, helpful and service.Kid-friendliness: While the place is known for their Greek food (obviously!) the huge burger and chicken tenders were hits with the kids.“
