“Nice small restaurant where only one server is needed.

I ordered the lunch special Mongolian beef with fried rice and hot and sour soup.

The hot and sour soup did not have enough sour in it, and overall, it was a little too starchy as well.

The Mongolian beef was okay. There was a char coal, smoky taste to it that overpowered the scallions. The fried rice helped with getting rid of some of that charcoal smoky flavor from the beef.

“I’ve never been a fan of the food here on multiple occasions, it’s come out with an odd smell, almost like a wet dog, which is definitely off-putting. That said, I still come back from time to time because the overall experience is genuinely fun. It’s a great spot to take a date, with a unique atmosphere and a aesthetic setup. “If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. “This is the best oriental restaurant by far in the Magnolia area. Delivery is fast and the food is always hot. When we are hungry for oriental food we do not think of another place, its always Mei-Wei. Thank you for always meeting our expectations. That is hard to find these days.“

“The Shrimp is big. Bigger than most other restaurants. Shrimp low mein or sweet and sour are great. The dumplings are my favorite. The chicken is also great. They also have cheesecake and frozen pineapple. I always dine in. There's always a place to sit. Great soothing music. It's relaxing.“

“I was in town for a short while and decided to try this place. First time was a success so I was convinced to have two more cracks at it. Unfortunately the second and third times were not up to my standards. Still I think it’s worth a try.

“This Chinese takeout spot has been our go-to for years! Whenever we’re craving something delicious and comforting, this is the first place that comes to mind. Their General Tso’s Chicken is absolutely amazing — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a rich, slightly spicy sauce that’s incredibly addictive.

Service is always fast and reliable. Orders are prepared quickly, always hot and fresh when delivered, and the packaging is neat and secure. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.

“We had dinner at Bao’s Cafe and tried the Kung Pao Triple Delight and Combination Fried Rice. The Kung Pao Triple Delight comes with white rice. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Portion sizes were good, and everything was well-presented.

Service was fast, and the restaurant was clean and not crowded. We spent about $25 for dinner for two people — definitely worth it.“

“Nice little place. My greatest complain, they only serve a little rice. Let me be clear, you sually order fried chicken wings with fried rice. The amount of the rice served can only fill up a child , not an adult. Besides that food taste good, never had any indigestion . Overall good for your budget.?

“I was worried when I arrived since it seemed the place was very slow. I always watch the buffet line to see if they drop products that are past their hold time. When I saw they did this regularly I relaxed and had a phenomenal meal knowing I would not be sick. Great variety of cooked food. I do feel they could do better on desert options. I focus on cleanliness when it's a buffet. Clean kitchen and kitchen staff was also clean cut and their uniforms were clean as well. Clean tables and the silverware does not have stains from the dishwasher in the back, meaning they regularly maintain and change out the soap. I was very pleased and will be going back.“

“Review Update- I still love this place. Very friendly, food is incredible. I hate to tell everyone about them because I love them, and don’t want them to be too busy for me, but the only way to make sure they stick around is to make sure they stay busy!
There has not been a single time where the food was not fantastic. Give them a go!!

Anyways this place is amazing! Food is always high quality and taste stays consistent. After a decade eating from here, everything still tastes great! Why change what works?

Interior is clean and simply decorated, not over done. Service is professional & attentive.

Dishes I recommend? Lo mein and General Tsos! Jade Garden's General Tsos is unique, it's listed as spicy but it's not over powering. (And I'm someone who doesn't like pepperoni!)
