He handled everything calmly and seamlessly, which gave us so much peace of mind on such an important day.

The food was phenomenal beautifully presented, perfectly timed, and genuinely some of the best food we’ve ever had at an event. Every detail was thought through, and it truly elevated the entire celebration.

“Chef Michael Mathews and his staff catered my daughter's wedding dinner in Cypress this month, and we were impressed with his punctuality, organization, and his delicious food. He surveyed the venue ahead of time so he would know the equipment he needed. He spent time going over the menu with me to make sure he knew what kind of food we wanted and had tasting sessions available if needed. He explained that he would make sure we did not run out of food if he got a head count about a week ahead of time. He also supplied plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins, and even cut the cakes we ordered from a local bakery and provided disposable plates for them. His food was delicious, especially the bacon-wrapped grilled shrimp appetizers, the beef bourguignonne (melts in your mouth and great flavor), the creamy cheddar mac-n-cheese, the sour cream bliss mashed potatoes, and the southwest salad. He and his crew were friendly and professional, and when they left the kitchen was spotless. Our guests praised his food, and many said it was the best wedding food they'd had. I highly recommend hiring Chef Michael's Gourmet Kitchen for your wedding or other event. His business also has to-go food for individuals or families that is delicious.“

“Delicious! As soon as you walk in you are smacked in the face with an amazing aroma of spices. This was my first time ever eating Indian food and it will definitely not be the last. We got Chicken Ghee to start, which had such deep flavor with a good amount of spice. Then we followed up with the Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan. Everything was amazing. They do offer cocktails, but be forewarned ice isn’t an automatic thing here. Depends on the drink. So, be cautious when ordering an alcoholic beverage. Otherwise a great experience. Jay was really nice and he seemed invested in us enjoying our time. I will be returning and I am looking forward to it.“
