“I’ve driven past Pickles for as long as I can remember, and tonight I finally decided to stop in. Honestly, I couldn’t have made a better choice. The moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the owner and a couple of his friends, it felt more like walking into someone’s home than a bar.
Pickles has this old Cypress vibe that you just don’t find anymore, and being there reminded me of summers with my family back in the day. The whole place had that comfortable, familiar feel, almost like hanging out in your uncle’s cool bar.
They even taught us how to play shuffleboard (Tuesdays and Sundays are shuffleboard nights if you’re looking for some competition). We came in on a Saturday, and while it was a little quiet, it didn’t matter. The owner and the folks there made sure we felt welcome, and the slower pace actually made it even more personal.
Pickles is genuine, nostalgic, and one of a kind. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, this is it. 100% worth a visit.“

“My wife and I were joined by our best friends for an evening out. We all really enjoyed our first time to visit Mirage38! Service was first rate! Food & drink was wonderful! Ambiance definitely upscale! Enjoyed chatting with Chayn outside the restaurant! Looks like they have a number of special events coming up to enjoy! We live in Brenham but we are looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommend this place for quality food, drink, and great conversation!“

“Julio’s did it again with exquisite food! I had lunch for 15 at my home with fajitas and sides. The delivery was on time, hot food, and plentiful quantities! The beef was so tender and tasty! Everyone loved the food and asked for the Julio’s address!“

I went with the hot honey lemon pepper wings — chef’s kiss. The sweet heat with that citrus kick was balanced just right and full of flavor.
The Love 66 and Watermelon hookah was smooth with a clean pull, steady flavor, and no harsh burn. It paired perfectly with the vibe and made the whole experience even better.

“My wife and I ate there this afternoon and the food was excellent, service was prompt and attentive. It is a great family atmosphere with a variety of music playing with a colorful atmosphere. I mentioned to the Manager on the way out that the only thing missing was real Salt and Pepper Shakers. Fast food places use the little packets but a nice place like Rudy’s should IMHO have the real thing. We will come again and have a nice meal and a drink and will look forward to using their new Salt & Pepper Shakers!“

“Love to eat outside here. I had tlhe duck tortellini and half a Mia Bella salad. My spouse had the crab cake from the dinner menu. Half a salad is more than enough as I finished the reminders off later. They serve a wonderful bread with dipping sauce. It was a beautiful day“
