“Passing through Valley View and found them on Google. Their name has changed, no longer York N Ale, but they have the same menu, only the ownership and name have changed. Food was good, service was friendly. Got a burger and tots, (no drink) to go. Was over $18. Besides the price, the only negative is the burger was open face, loaded and covered with spicy ranch, I'm in a suit (headed to a funeral) and they gave me no fork or any utensils (didn't know the burger was open face until I was down the road), and I only got napkins bc I asked for them. So, I ate the tots and had to wait until I got home later that evening to eat the burger.”

“Personally, I'm a sucker for the huge Oatmeal Cream Pies! The food here is made from scratch, with love and that is something special in itself. Beyond that, I highly recommend going inside Sweet Jayne's, even if you have to walk a block with a toddler on your hip. It's always worth it because the employees are so kind, the owner, Carri, when out front treats every customer like family, and the atmosphere is beautiful, calm, comfortable, clean, and inviting. Everything here is done with so much thoughtfulness and care and that is a true gem! I highly recommend Sweet Jaynes bakeshop for a coffee stop, breakfast, brunch, sweet treat, office work, or meetups! You'll be glad you did!”

“The Orchard Bistro has the freshest and most delicious meals. This is my favorite spot in Gainesville. Jeff and Maggie are the kindest and well informed when it comes to health and wellness. (I’m sure on plenty of other subjects too) I’ve tried quite a few of their products and love the results. I’ve asked their advice numerous of occasions and they always have a well educated answer. The atmosphere is perfect and they have a great location, not to far from the square. The coffee, the tea, the food, the healthcare products/ herbs, are all top quality. You won’t find another place like it.”

“We ate here 3 years ago for my daughter’s graduation. Today in August 2025 we went back . The bread was fabulous, service was friendly and quick. The food was amazing. We drove an hour and twenty minutes just to eat here again. As my daughter put it , the bread alone was worth it. - Yes my last name is Pellegrino but I have no affiliation with the owners. In fact we had to eat there because of the name. We will be back!”

“My family and I have been going here for YEARS. Today after driving over an hour to visit my sons grave at the cemetery we came for our usual food. There was a VERY obnoxious lady who spoke so LOUD that everyone could hear her. For a "Family" restaurant the staff, even the manager would not say or do anything. She is one of their regulars and she is white. I am white as well but she was throwing racial slurs, talking about abortions, affairs and dead babies. There were very small children around. One family had to get up and walk out leaving food untouched. This lady, we will call her Kansas City Chiefs white trash, kept downing drink after drink requesting extra vodka. I learned all about her son and daughter and how disappointed she was. As soon as she got to the dead babies part I had to leave with my 10 year old. She was THAT loud. My friend told her maybe she should not be as loud to which she cussed her out and told her "HER PRESIDENT says it is ok". Sit at the bar next time lady. You triggered me and made me sad for your family. I have never done a review like this but since obviously management is too scared to say something I will. And Kansas City lady if you see this, you owe my son and I an apology. Thanks for ruining our trip to see my mom and sons grave.”

“This place is LIFE! Like ermerlawd! The best tacos I've ever ever eaten. Ever. Usually I don't care to make a post about a food joint but this place it tops. The portions of what I order (Steak tacos with cilantro and cheese) is more than fair for the price. You get a fresh lime wedge. Everything is cooked fresh too! I've formed a taco addiction. But its all good. The food is worth it. The cashiers are amazingly nice. They make me feel like an old family friend, because ive been there so much this week haha, they're really great. This place is overall a 12/10. If you don't try it you are missing out on the best chance youll take in 2019. Its your year go make it! Go eat tacos”

“The staff very polite and our waitress was prompt attentive and the food was the best from any Chili's I've eaten at and our order came out right the first time. Also I've never had to ask for lemon for my tea after said half and half tea with lemon. When she brought a second glass out it had a lemon with it.”
