“Personally, I'm a sucker for the huge Oatmeal Cream Pies! The food here is made from scratch, with love and that is something special in itself. Beyond that, I highly recommend going inside Sweet Jayne's, even if you have to walk a block with a toddler on your hip. It's always worth it because the employees are so kind, the owner, Carri, when out front treats every customer like family, and the atmosphere is beautiful, calm, comfortable, clean, and inviting. Everything here is done with so much thoughtfulness and care and that is a true gem! I highly recommend Sweet Jaynes bakeshop for a coffee stop, breakfast, brunch, sweet treat, office work, or meetups! You'll be glad you did!”

“The Orchard Bistro has the freshest and most delicious meals. This is my favorite spot in Gainesville. Jeff and Maggie are the kindest and well informed when it comes to health and wellness. (I’m sure on plenty of other subjects too) I’ve tried quite a few of their products and love the results. I’ve asked their advice numerous of occasions and they always have a well educated answer. The atmosphere is perfect and they have a great location, not to far from the square. The coffee, the tea, the food, the healthcare products/ herbs, are all top quality. The portions of what I order (Steak tacos with cilantro and cheese) is more than fair for the price. You get a fresh lime wedge. Everything is cooked fresh too! I've formed a taco addiction. But its all good. The food is worth it. The cashiers are amazingly nice. They make me feel like an old family friend, because ive been there so much this week haha, they're really great. “My family and I have been going here for YEARS. Today after driving over an hour to visit my sons grave at the cemetery we came for our usual food. There was a VERY obnoxious lady who spoke so LOUD that everyone could hear her. For a "Family" restaurant the staff, even the manager would not say or do anything. She is one of their regulars and she is white. I am white as well but she was throwing racial slurs, talking about abortions, affairs and dead babies. There were very small children around. One family had to get up and walk out leaving food untouched. This lady, we will call her Kansas City Chiefs white trash, kept downing drink after drink requesting extra vodka. I learned all about her son and daughter and how disappointed she was. As soon as she got to the dead babies part I had to leave with my 10 year old. She was THAT loud. My friend told her maybe she should not be as loud to which she cussed her out and told her "HER PRESIDENT says it is ok". Sit at the bar next time lady. You triggered me and made me sad for your family. I have never done a review like this but since obviously management is too scared to say something I will. And Kansas City lady if you see this, you owe my son and I an apology. Thanks for ruining our trip to see my mom and sons grave.”

“The staff very polite and our waitress was prompt attentive and the food was the best from any Chili's I've eaten at and our order came out right the first time. Also I've never had to ask for lemon for my tea after said half and half tea with lemon. When she brought a second glass out it had a lemon with it.”
