After knocking out a few errands in Beaumont, I figured I deserved a little treat — I reached out to a handful of friends, but everyone was busy. So once again, I ended up dining solo… something that seems to be happening more often lately (probably means a little self-reflection is in order). But here’s the truth: it still turned into a pretty solid evening. I slid into a seat at J. Wilson’s, started with a Godfather cocktail — smooth, cold, and precisely what the moment called for. Followed it up with a great ribeye steak dinner and capped it off right with crème brûlée and strawberries (along with a second cocktail). Not a bad way to close out a long Saturday. Sure, having a beautiful woman sitting across from me would’ve been the icing on the cake… but you take the wins where you find them. And tonight, the win might just be ending the night with a good cigar and a quiet moment to breathe. J Wilson’s for the win. Service was great — as usual; and the meal was perfect. Not a bad Saturday at all.“

“This was our first time going today. Great service, great atmosphere and great food from Smash Wagon. Nina (BAR TENDER)was great! We really liked her. They had live music that was great! Christina a regular patron was very funny and nice! They have indoor and outdoor seating. You can also sit out back under covered patio and eat, drink and play washers or cornhole! “Daddio’s Burger has always been my number 1 Favorite Place. I have not gone in here in a while because I’ve been so busy with a lot of different things, but I definitely will make my way back soon. I will say hands-down every time I go in there I’m always graded right away by everybody you know and you can tell when you walk into this place. They really take pride in what they do. They take pride in their food and the way they present it to the customers, and they take pride in their customers and make sure that everything is just the way they asked for it to be. Their food is cooked to perfection. The employees are very nice. They have an excellent management team there as well as owner and I highly recommend the place to anybody. I think by far they are the best in the state of Texas and anywhere around this world you will not find a better place than here. I can guarantee you that. When you walk in here and you order your meal and you eat it, I’m gonna guarantee you. You will walk out completely full and you’ll wanna come back again and again and again so if you have not been here or say you’re just visiting the area I highly recommend walking in because you will not be disappointed“

“We brought our 11 year old daughter to watch her band directors play in their little orchestra last night and it was a packed house! Night and Day orchestra blew us away! I love all the cool things hanging on the wall! It really felt like I was somewhere back in time! My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and he loved it! The margaritas needed a little flavor so I added my husbands blueberries and it was better 😝“

“First time here, and the food was pretty good! Hubby’s steak was a bit too cooked, so it was tough to chew. The deviled eggs were delicious, and my fig and prosciutto pizza was also great. I also tried the avocado and cucumber salad, which was pretty good. He had a Bloody Mary, and I had a Long Island Tea, which were okay drinks. Not something we’d order again. It was very quiet and not crowded at all when we went on Sunday. I loved the decor and the lighting. It had a chill vibe!“

“Wait staff were extremely kind and welcoming. When we were there, we were family. My granddaughters were celebrating their respective birthdays. They received two huge pieces of cake. The waitress & bartender both entertained & listened intently to them. The only thing I would change, if I could, would be to provide a larger tip. But, alas, I am monetarily challenged. “This is the best restaurant in Beaumont. The happily agreed to accommodate our special education students with an incredible experience. Teresa was our server and she is absolutely the best. We had close 40 people in our group, the food was hot, and the drinks were filled. It was an exceptional time. They are definitely worth going to see. Go see them.“

“My family and I had a very pleasant experience. Upon arrival the staff held the doors open for us, it was especially helpful since we had a 7 month old in her carrier. There was no wait, we received complementary croissants, appetizer came directly after , maybe less than 10 minutes later we received our food which was delicious. The server was very friendly and informative. Family friendly environment, service was top tier. I definitely would recommend.“
