“Allergies….my wife has developed severe gluten, dairy and egg allergies in the last few years. YAKI specializes in food prep WITHOUT allergy concerns!! They came up when we looked up gluten free options while visiting Waco and what a God-send! We spoke with Jake and encouraged him and the vision he has for helping people that can’t partake in regular food! If you’re in the Waco area, I highly recommend YAKI, whether or not you have a food allergy! I would really like to see YAKI branch out to serve more people, so help them out! EATYAKI!“

“This is such a hidden gem. Their food is very special and creative and the taste is suuuuper good! I ordered stuffed avocado with salmon, the drizzle is a perfect touch. The vibe feels like family and I’m touched to see Tom & Jerry playing on the TV. They just have great taste over all kinds of everything! Will definitely visit again next time in Waco. Can’t wait to try their sandwiches!“

“1st of all, thank you for the veteran day meal. My husband and I are both vets and it was appreciated. I just wanted to comment about your water. It had a bad taste and when I asked for another glass the waitress stated she had been told Waco water systems had been doing something and the water had a different taste. We live in Waco and our water at home doesn’t have that taste. You might want to test your filtration system at the restaurant. The only other comment I have is since the water was undrinkable the waitress asked it I wanted tea. I said yes and was charged 3.50 for it. Those prices are ridiculous but since I was getting the soup and salad for free I didn’t complain.“

“The turkey muffaletta was great as always. This is a delicious sandwich with olive tapenade and I highly recommend it. There was an error with my online order and when I sent the owner feedback, he graciously sent me the purchase price of my meal plus a little bit extra on a gift card. this is the way to take care of people and I will definitely return to Jason's deli again without a doubt! The food is always wonderfully fresh and consistent and you should do yourself a favor and go there today!“

“The most impressive person was the greeter a young man of color. I’m disabled and he came to help me in and seated at the table. He was so polite and helpful, I remarked he must of had great parents and they raised him right. This I was a great night out for a special occasion and he made it even better.God bless this young man.“

“Shout out to Seth and Shannon for not only letting us show up last minute, but then going the extra mile to let us know that they appreciated us being there even so. Its location on the first floor of the Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB) made it incredibly convenient, especially when I was studying in the SUB or heading to morning classes.One thing to note is the menu's simplicity, akin to an airport selection. While it may be limited compared to full-scale Chick-fil-A outlets, the quality and taste of the food remain top-notch. The chicken sandwiches, in particular, have been a delightful and familiar comfort during my time on campus.What makes this location stand out is its commitment to sustainability, as part of a broader initiative within Baylor's dining services. “Consistent food quality and service at this location! Our favorite, easy breakfast spot. And this morning, I was so impressed with Jordan. He went to refill my hot coffee, but came back to apologize since it would be 4-5 minutes for fresh coffee. I declined to wait, but he quickly offered to get me another drink of my choice. I asked him "Even an iced coffee?" Yep, no problem and thank you, Jordan for great service!“
