“We ventured out to Walnut Springs to check out Blackie's Bait Shop for ourselves after receiving high recommendations. What a great place! Dobber, the owner, is so cordial and friendly. Speaks to everyone before heading to the kitchen to cook your delicious steaks! After the meal, cross the street for Blackie's After Dark for an entertaining night at the piano bar, then stay upstairs for a restful night of sleep. All conveniently located. We had a great time!“
“Just had a nice experience here at Blackie's Came because of the steak reviews and we were not disappointed. Steak was prepared exactly as we asked. Portions were perfect, staff experience was a good balance. Received a welcome from the owner and manager will enjoying dinner. Other staff was also attentive as they passed by although our server was on top of her game. We will be regulars here now that we have found this quaint spot.“
“You must go here! It is out of the way, but so worth it. Don't be deceived by the looks of the place. It's a true roadhouse and the people make you feel welcomed and part of the family. The live entertainment was great, too! And the food was awesome as well. We didn't want to leave!! Make sure to spend some time with Reba when she gets you at the door.?“
