“Casa de Marisco is a staple in Weslaco. Don't let the name fool you. It isn't just seafood they serve here. But they have an awesome shrimp cocktail and the Tierra y Mar dishes are an awesome choice for those who want fried shrimp and fish while also hitting the spot for the chicken and beef fajitas. I always recommend it when asked for a good place to eat. This is my botana place. The botanita (for one) easily feeds 2 or 3. So much food. It's been a while since I've dined in but I see some familiar faces and they've always had great service. KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!“

“A wonderful place for a date night! We got the pepperoni pizza, tomato basil soup, and the cheesecake. The pizza was great with well balanced salt and good crust. The tomato basil soup is easily the best I've had. It was creamy and the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The cheesecake is a whipped style cheesecake with a nutty crust topped with cherries. It was delicious and not too sweet. The service was also great! I definitely recommend you support this historic local business.“

“Upon first walking in I was greeted by the woman at the cash register, whom explained what my experience at this facility would be like. Due to it not being busy/ crowded, I was able to seat myself wherever I pleased. The woman attending my table, Terry, was very, very attentive to my needs. She stopped by ever so often and checked on me to see if everything was going good. She refilled my drink and brought extra napkins as needed. She was very polite and welcoming to this establishment. The food 4 out of 5 as it was close to closing so it was not the freshest, but it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. I would definitely come back to eat here whenever I’m in the area. “The $25 special for two is good. The steak tasted good but had a lot of gristle. The chicken was very good. The side salads are huge! Service was also good. It took 30 minutes to get our entrée. Margaritas were excellent & happy hour price was extremely low. The only complaint for every Applebee's is the music is way too loud!!“
