“The staff at the Westheimer location has great customer service and they have a unified work relationship. I love the way they greet other with hugs and hand shakes. They are also very personable with their customers.”

“We visited Maximo on 10/30 and had their new tasting menu.

We began with the Molotes de Suadero as an appetizer and they surprised us with their version of street corn. The Molotes were amazing and the corn was delicious.

The tasting menu:

Blue fin tostada, avocado mash, chili crisp, chapulines- was simply delicious and the chili crisp gave it a perfect spicy taste.

Masa cornbread + chicatana butter + caviar - this dish was the perfect blend of textures and flavors with the caviar balancing the sweetness of the sauce.

Enchilada potosina, queso de cincho, crema casera- this dish brought me back to my time in San Luis Potosi, the enchilada was so delicious and the three different sauces were super tasty.

Duck, mole negro, arroz mexicano- this was the star of the night! The duck breast was perfectly cooked and the mole and arroz provided and
amazing flavor additions to the duck. Simply delicious!

Bunuelo + vanilla custard + banana ice cream - the vanilla custard and ice cream are Devine.

Our amazing server, Brianna, surprised us with the Oaxacan chocolate ice cream and it tasted just like the traditional chocolate drink from Oaxaca. We enjoyed every bite of this treat.

“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.”
