“Another place said to b "jumping" but was actually "wallerin" after 11 on a FridayThe floor was level here.Update to owner:Met some friends who live in the area n was expecting it to b a tad bit more lively than it was since it was a Friday. No complaints at all. It's a quaint little place to sit n drink. I was just expecting it to b a bit more energetic being a bar so close to the lake n having the rep it does. Again, I enjoyed the short time I was there n will return when I don't have to get back on the road so quickly. Bonus perk: there is a neat little one lane bridge on a county road real close to there. If u look for it, u will b amazed with it.
Parking: Better lot than the last placeGood n flat“

“Slovaceks has decent baked goods. Sausage is good. Beware of brisket (ask for it to be trimmed well of fat). Good selection of highway rest stop commercial items of many types. Good place to stop before hitting the Waco area if you are Southbound on I-35.“

“I love the kolaches here but the past year or so I feel like they have been in the oven for a minute or so too long. They're always a little burnt and the bread is not as good as it used to be. I still go when I pass through hoping it's changed but sadly it hasn't.“
