“I’ve eaten at Anna’s Mexican Food for well over 25 years, and, for me, it is the Tex-Mex food on which all others are judged. “My family has eaten at the Lubbock location many times. The food has always been delicious and the service excellent. Last night our server was Landon and I cannot even properly express how fantastic the service was. My whole family was impressed. We thought he was a waiter trained at a large city five star restaurant. We were incorrect. He became a server at a Country Club in Lubbock, left there and started at Abuelo's. The food was excellent as always and Landon is a superstar waiter!“

“This was our first time to dine in. I usually go through the drive through for the shrimp cocktail. This time we decided to go inside.
The atmosphere was homey with music on the TV. Our waitress was very prompt in bringing our chips and salsa along with taking our drink orders. Breakfast is served all day so hubby got the chorizo and eggs. Cooke perfectly to his liking. I had the chili relleno, taco and enchilada. Quite tasty. The portions were more than ample, hot and very good. We will definitely be going back again.“

“We live out of town and have enjoyed dining at Picoso’s when we are in Lubbock. The staff is always super friendly and courteous, and we’ve been very impressed with the food.
Our daughter graduated from Texas Tech in December, and we reached out to Picoso’s about catering a party we did that afternoon. Everything was fantastic! The delivery was prompt, and our guests commented how tender the meat was and how flavorful the food was!
I even received a follow-up from Katy, who helped coordinate things for our event, which I thought was so kind. I highly recommend Picoso’s for dining and catering—wonderful food and service!“

“Just ordered, the food is priced just how every other restaurant needs to be priced. So affordable, the service is very considerate and soft spoken. And the vibe is quiet with some Mexican music and not much else but to sit and enjoy your time. Even if the food is terrible this place is still chill ash😂 but I bet the food will be fire“

But they do, their coffee is outstanding, I bet if you look at all the reviews for all the rosa's nobody talks about the coffee. “Tried Mar Y Tierra Mexican Restaurant and wow — definitely a new favorite. The salsa is so good a d the tortilla chips are fresh and delicious! The food came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor, and the portions were generous. Staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome the whole time. “The food was hot, fresh and so tasty. It felt like going to my aunts house as a kid with fresh homemade tortillas and authentic mexican food. “Nora’s Mexican Restaurant absolutely blew me away tonight. I ordered the Nate’s Special and my guest had another dish I can’t even remember the name of because all I can think about is how insanely good everything tasted. The food was on another level rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and cooked so perfectly I genuinely can’t describe it without underselling it. The service was just as impressive, the kind where you feel taken care of from the second you sit down until you walk out the door. And the chips and salsa? Unreal. Fresh, crispy, warm, and that salsa was straight-up addictive. I walked in hungry and walked out knowing I’ve officially found my new go-to spot. Nora’s is that good.“

“First time trying El Malecon for dinner last night and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very clean and beautifully done. So many food and drink options to choose from. We started with the shrimp mango ceviche which was a huge portion. I had the fish, scallop, shrimp fajitas and they were so good. We look forward to eating here again!“

“I LOVE Torchys BUT this location is always packed and loud because of the college. My order was not sent to the kitchen by the kiosk ( I personally dislike kiosks especially when there's workers standing there staring at you doing nothing) 😑 therefore my order had to be retaken by a human and confirmation I paid...thank God for instant bank app confirmations lol. The tacos are the best tho my hubby always gets the trashy trailer, I've tried them and also the shrimp baja and salmon ( mr orange) always awesome!“

“Coming home from the DMV I decided to get a quick bite and chose Taco Villa. I got a #6, 2 crunchy beef tacos and a 32 oz root beer, my husband wanted 2 soft beef tacos. They gave me enough mild salsa so I could smother my tacos but they were SO good, a nice, thick slice of tomato and shredded cheddar, oh, yum! I order for delivery a lot and will add this store, can't wait to try a taco salad if they have it.“

“Friendly staff and decent food. Not terribly priced. It is good dont get me wrong but didn't quite hit the authentic flavor i was looking for. Ill give it another try when able. The nacho chalupa was my only disappointment: its just a tostada with jalapenos and melted cheese on it. Oh there is one major highlight worth going for regardless of what you get- that great sala bar!“
