“We love Bush's chicken! They make great fried chicken. The mashed potatoes and fries are well done, too. This location has been good to us; when I got home, I realized they got our order wrong. I called and the gal was nice to talk to, and she made it right. Thank you!“

“This place was great! Rarely do you take 6 kids to a sit down restaurant and feel actually welcomed. The staff was all so sweet, encouraged the kids to look around and ride in their state trooper car, even gave them quarters to use. The food was great! The kids loved that they got theirs delivered in cars. We all had burgers and fries. Fresh, homemade goodness. definitely recommend and will be back.“

“I would not recommend this particular store because of the people that work there. The manager Kelsey and the drive through lady Crystal are extremely rude and they lie about being rude to the customers. When they say something about it, everyone covers each other's back and tells you if you don't like it. Go down the street to chicken Express. San marcus on highway one twenty three“

“Croissants were amazing, spinach dip was very good! Chicken fried chicken dinner, mashed potatoes and broccoli was not very good. Server kept forgetting about us but other than that she was amazing lol. Restaurant was super clean, no waiting on a table.“

“Want to thank the General Manager, Margaret Burch, for tracking me down to return a birthday card which included a check accidentally left there by a family member. I appreciated her going that extra mile to do the right thing. We have been to The Brown House Cafe several times over the summer and really enjoy the great service and excellent food. It’s worth the drive from Gatesville for some good home cooking. Thanks, Margaret!“
