“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. “Tonight my family went to Manoil’s. Wow. What a joy. I can’t recall what these dishes were called so beautifully on the menu—but I’ve tried my best in being simple in describing them. We ordered the risotto, orzo, lamb, octopus, olives, potatoes, and arugula salad. Every single thing was so freshly prepared, dressed, and cooked to invite delight. Thank you so much.“

“I've been here several times, always a treat, and have never left a review. Located in great part of town, just love 9th and 9th. The gelateria itself has just an assortment of arts and ceramics and decorations. The seating area is super cozy. Some tables and chairs and some couches - that could swallow you whole if you let them they are so squishy. The gelato is great, very creamy. I think the best gelato in Salt Lake. The serving size is great too, they usually pack it in and over the top of the cup. Thanks to the owners and workers of this shop!“

To our complete surprise, dinner was absolutely delicious — one of the best Indian meals we have had (and we have had a number of them in New York City and elsewhere). Appetizers, soup, naan, a vegetable curry (split between the two of us), a dessert, and beer came to a little over $40. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.“

“My daughter and I were just traveling through Salt Lake City and stopped to have a snack at the Corner Brew Pub in the B terminal of the airport. We were greated by the manager, who started us off with waters and our drink order from the moment he sat us. He was delightful, had a great smile, and was clearly happy to pitch in! Our server, Sarah, could not have been sweeter! She checked in on us often, made sure we were well taken care of, and had such a lovely presence!

It’s rare in an airport that you would get such great service - it was genuine and with a smile. We travel a lot in generally stick to private lounges, but this experience rejuvenated my faith in the airport restaurant experience!“
