“First time visiting and had a positive experience. I loved the frozen yogurt options. There were even some sugar-free options too! The toppings area was clean, which was nice since there was some traffic. The waffle cone bowl was free since it was Wednesday! But to my utter disappointment, the cones were stale. Being in a dry region, there is no excuse for it. I had to bend my waffle bowl in half to get a piece to break off! No bueno.“

“I love Aubergine and I regularly eat at another location. However, I was unfortunately surprised by this location’s service.

Food took a long time to come out (can be understandable), but what I received when it finally came out was poor. The falafel was ice cold and rock hard. The greens were somehow like stale?

The portion sizes were also by far the smallest I’ve ever received at Aubergine (not the end of the world), but even my dressing was filled up only like 1/4 of the way.

It all seemed very sloppy. Probably won’t be back to this location. Employees were nice, just felt the offering was really lacking.

“My family eats here regularly, great place for hitting macros, getting more veggies and protein. Because it’s a healthier place, not everyone will love it (specially kids), and it’s not fast food, but it’s ready pretty quick! Here are my favorites: skinny salmon bowl, Santa Fe bowl, fueled Cobb salad, and their protein cookies. My family loves their protein pancakes (chocolate dipped and pb&j), nuts and berries protein açaí bowl, fueled monster bowl, and blackened chicken Caesar wrap.“

Unfortunately when I come in and see Journey I want to turn around and leave. Last time I came in I waited at the bar for 15 minutes and almost left. Then Journey came around the corner. Instantly I knew I was gonna have bad service until Tanner showed up. Then another employee came in clocked in then just sat down with her friends. Weird. “First timer here. The food was good. The first experience with the staff wasn't the friendliest, but we went again a different day and it was much better. Three atmosphere is typical for a modern warehouse feel. They had a free kids meal for an adult regular meal you get. That was nice!“

“Blue Lemon has the most fabulous Butternut Squash soup! Their flavor is very unique with glazed pecans on top. “Delicious vegetarian GF (California?) burger with garlic aioli sauce, avocado, vegetarian bacon. I'm not a vegetarian, but stopped by since my daughter can't do either dairy or gluten and so happy we did. This was fabulous!! I've already recommended it to several friends. My daughter had the death by chocolate (super rich indulgence she rarely gets, both GF & DF!) Unfortunately they don't have a dedicated GF fryer for her French fry craving. I'd definitely come again to try more of their menu and I live 300 miles away.“

“The food is always good and fresh! I went to the drive thru and ordered 2 meals- when I got to the window I realized that I left my purse at home. I had cash in my pocket but I was $2 short so I asked them to take off 1 meal and they did and charged me for just the 1 meal. Then when Scottie handed me my bag there were 2 meals in the bag! “I love this place. Warm salsa is amazing! Super friendly and the food is great. I have super picky Mexican food eating friends and they loved this place too. Mariachi band on Tuesdays can be fun and remember it’s ok to say no to them if you’re not in the mood. The food does take some time, but the quality is worth it!!“

“I've lived in the SLC/Holladay area for 4+ years and this is the best coffee this side of town! They have a drive thru(only) and the menu is pretty simple. The barista is super helpful and down to Earth. I seriously won't go anywhere else, it's the best coffee around here.

“I went for the first time this week because it’s Wizarding week and wanted the Harry Potter ones. I went in said I had never been there and asked if any of them had peanuts in them. I was told yes, but that they could custom that one so I could still get it which they did and the guy that was working was very cautious to make sure they were safe for me. “My husband and I stopped here while visiting family in the area. I saw online that they had gluten free fry bread and had just missed having any at my local fair since I went gluten free about a year ago. I think it was the best thing I’ve had since. Was nearly in tears! I got the sweet fry bread with honey butter and cinnamon sugar. I also enjoyed the chicken bbq on mashed potatoes and gf chocolate cake. I wish I had one of these at home! I’ve never heard of them or experienced them before. They did an amazing job!! This was better than I even expected. The staff was SO kind. “Flavors of India was one of those go-to place I went when I was living in Utah, usually on my way to MRS Hobby in Sandy or just after stopping at Smith and Edwards just across the street. Overall a great place in West Jordan to stop for some Indian food.
The Atmosphere is fantastic. Nice, bright colors, artwork depicting scenes from India and the TVs actually play some Bollywood music videos and cricket matches to boot. Very much an enjoyable environment.
Overall I never had a bad experience regarding service. They were pretty good at ensuring my water was filled and were able to turn around food pretty quickly.
As for the food, while the menu doesn't state it you can have them adjust the spice level in your food. For those who are a bit timid with the spices, definitely let your server know to back off on the spice as needed. That said, they have a nice variety of curries, samosas, naan and other Indian dishes. I usually stuck to chicken tikka masala or the occasional lamb vindaloo but I've had their saag soup and some saag panner as well. Very flavorable, the accompanying rice as freshly steamed; my only wish there was a bit more rice served with their curries. I've even had their buffet once and I was pleased with the quality of the food on their buffet as I tried several different dishes and found them all to be fresh and enjoyable.
If you're in West Jordan and want some Indian cuisine, Flavors of India is definitely a good restaurant to try out.“
