“I ordered takeout. It was hot and ready right when to get said it would be. I got the small Mont Amorè Alfredo with shrimp instead of chicken. It comes with spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes the only reason this is 4 stars is because the last time I got it, they forgot the mushrooms and then said they would have to charge me for them if I wanted them put on the side.I also got a Rice Krispy treat (my birthday freebie). This thing was half the size of my head and so fresh. It was soft and gooey like they should always be.My only real complaint is that they don’t have their mushroom stroganoff on the menu anymore. I used to get that with the braised beef and it was fire. If I were in charge of the menu, I would definitely bring that back.“
“I see why there is long a wait here every night. The food we had today was spectacular! We've experienced Tex-Mex in Austin and Cal-Mex in Southern California. Red Iguana more than holds it own against those two famous areas of the country for Mexican cuisine. This place looks like a hole in the wall from all the stickers on the door and windows, but don't let those fool you. This establishment serves up world-class Mexican food. This is a must visit restaurant in Salt Lake City.“

I had the Chicken Coconut Kurma - a unique dish I've never had in Indian restaurants before, and my boyfriend had the Lamb Saag. The food was delicious, the servers were attentive, the prices reasonable, and the decor is beautiful and quiet! We have a few favorites that we always visit on our ski trips to SLC and this is added to the list!“
“If you like Italian food then you have to visit this restaurant in SLC! We went there twice during our 4 day stay. The service was great and so was the food! For appetizers I recommend the whipped Brie and carpaccio. The bread service was also so yummy! As for the entrees we got the risotto, brasato braised beef, truffle pasta which were 10/10. The filet Mingon was also tasty but could use a little bit less salt. Ravioli al Funghi is vegan and also tasted very fresh. As for dessert I would recommend the tiramisu! Honestly everything was flavorful 10/10 recommend.“
“I have followed this place from Denver (my daughter lives in Salt Lake). Finally got to go today. They have samples!!! I was so impressed how friendly and knowledgeable the employee was. She described tastes and made suggestions. It was so much fun trying and bringing home 6 cookies. The oatmeal with cherries and apricots was like an amazing breakfast bar. They were all delicious. The best cookies I've ever had!“
“My husband and I had a great time at Bohemian Brewery! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and looks like a giant cabin. It was a nice day, so we sat on the patio and had a lovely view of some snow-capped mountains. Our waiter was very nice and helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations. They are, of course, a brewery so we ordered two flights of beer to try most of their selection. Most of the beers were pretty light and the pilsner ended up being my favorite.Per our waiter's recommendation, we ordered the giant pretzel for an appetizer and the perogies and bratwurst for our entrée. The pretzel was huge, and I almost filled up just from that. The beer cheese was so good my husband ended up dipping some of his bratwurst in it. The perogies and bratwurst were exactly what I wanted them to be. And, I think this restaurant has THE BEST sauerkraut I have ever had. After we ate, I was ready to go back to our Airbnb and take a nap. I wish this restaurant was closer to us so that we could be regulars. Absolutely go to Bohemian Brewery if you like German/Polish food and you are near Salt Lake City!Parking: There appeared to be plenty of free parking by the restaurant.“

“Man o man this place is fanominal!!! I know it's an upbeat place but the experience you get here is fantastic. The longest I've had to wait is like 10 min. I love the valet parking and everything. It's awesome. Places like this you should look nice and presentable however I've seen several times people coming in wearing gym clothes or attire that I don't think is suited for this establishment however they've never judged and still treated you as if you were a millionaire! The food has always been Michelin star rated and I've never been disappointed. I'm very greatful that they know it's your birthday or anniversary and give you a personal experience. They got my wife and I desert cause it was our anniversary which was super thoughful.“

“Great pies. I went on pi day. I ordered the three small pies, after asking if they had the special Rocky Road pie and I was told no I picked three different ones. Then they found out that they had some of the rocky road pie and I had already paid by then. I told them no problem I'll get it the next time the gentleman that was working there had the young lady at the cash register give it to me at no charge. Great customer service and yummy pies. I will definitely be back.“

“I found Gourmandise while searching for a gluten free bakery in downtown Salt Lake City. To my pleasant surprise, they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although they aren't a dedicated gluten free facility and there is risk of cross contamination, the waitress took the time to confirm that my food choices would not contain gluten, soy, or beef. I had the grilled salmon and it was delicious! The buerre blanc sauce was silky smooth and had just the right blend of flavors. For dessert, there were several gluten free options and I selected the flourless chocolate cake. It was very rich and satisfied my sweet tooth! I'll likely try an additional dessert or two before I leave town. I would definitely eat here again!Dietary restrictions: They have several menus online for dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan). I had many gluten free options from which to choose, although some had a high risk of cross contamination due to the fryer. They also have gluten free bread which can be used for sandwiches.The waitress took my allergies seriously and verified ingredients and cooking procedures with the chef to ensure I had a good experience. She also cautioned me about possible cross contamination from my food being in the same oven with glutinous bread. I appreciated her transparency and effort.“

“I have eaten more than 50 meals here over the past 15 years and have enjoyed each and every one of them. In addition, I have hosted parties of around 20 people on multiple occassions and overall, everyone enjoyed them and I have always been impressed by the staff here!Atmosphere inside has always been good, even though the remodel on the outside can make it appear as if they are not open for business, thankfully they are. Even with the dust from the construction outside, I have not seen it appear inside the restaurant, that likely takes added effort for the staff.“

“Wonderful! First time there, primarily for the Mariachi performing group (Tuesdays 6-8). They were fantastic! It can be a little loud, but heh... they performed their first number for the entire restaurant, then proceeded to go around to the different tables and, if requested, perform a special number for the people at that table or booth. We found the food to be quite good as well. Service was perfectly fine. It can be difficult to hold conversations while they are singing, so next time, we might get there at maybe 530, enjoy our food and chat, and then enjoy the performing group for however long we like. Highly recommend this place for the excellent food and for the Mariachi band on Tuesday evenings.“

“The first time there was an interesting experience. Everyone was nice and very friendly. Some meats were too rare for me. i mentioned so, so they said I'd be back, and they came back with more cooked meat Well done to my liking. This was dinner service they had a variety of meats and a variety of how they seasoned it different cuts of beef, a few options of chicken pork sausage, and pork ribs. The salad bar items were well stocked and delicious. There were loud moments i think it was birthday celebrations, so be aware of getting startled sometimes.“

“We visited this place twice during one week stay in SLC. The staff was so friendly and patient while we were trying to place an order while with our toddler. We had lavender latte and cafe mocha both times, and tried several food items - Jalapeno Cheese Biscuit, BlackBerry Raspberry Scone, Almond Croissant, Bacon Quiche and Olive Oil Loaf. They were all tasty and stayed fresh even the next day. We were so happy about this find, we told our family and friends who were also in SLC and they loved it so much they went three times during their one week stay in SLC. Highly recommend - great drinks and food, spacious and clean space, and great service.Parking: There is some street parking that is free.Kid-friendliness: It is very spacious and has lots of tables/chairs/seats. They had one highchair available which we used without getting in the way of people in the cafe.“

The cauliflower wings are just roasted cauliflower… tasted great but why call them wings? The green curry is bomb as well. Also server was wonderful. Cool industrial interior as well. Pricey as hell though, almost no entrees are under $20. Cheapest I saw was $19, most were $21+. Desserts looked absolutely splendid, but we didn’t get them :(HALF OF THEIR MENU WAS CHEESE BASED ITEMS BY THE WAY! WHY??
