“ENDORSING WING STOP IN LAYTON UTAH: This is a little anniversary story. (Last night Cathy and I celebrated with the two younger boys--who I also "married" on May 11, 2018. We are celebrating alone this weekend.) A couple of weeks ago, Cathy and I ordered take-out from Wingstop for an at-home date. When I got home, Cathy reviewed the receipt and realized that we had mistakenly received an extra $20 bill in change. The next day, I went into Wingstop and offered the money back. The manager told me that it was not necessary to return the money, and that he wanted to reward our honesty by taking care of our next meal for free. When we decided to get some take out to celebrate with the boys, we decided to use the free meal we had been promised. We thought one meal would be free and planned on paying for the other three meals. Instead, the manager comped all 4 meals! I highly recommend the Layton Wingstop --not only for their exceptional customer service but because the wings and all of their sides are great. (Try the fried corn--it's terrific.) Please don't use this information to try to manipulate free food. Their food is definitely worth the price you pay and they have a great selection of wing flavors!“

“Z Brothers pizza discriminated against an disabled employee. The manager short lady short hair at the Layton store sent a disabled employee explicit videos while at work 2025. this employee never asked for it which she claims this employee "begged her" to send it which was a complete abhorrent lie. this employee asked the owners Matt and Jake Thompson for a meeting about the disgusting video and disability accommodations from a Doictor note. they determined to let "bygones be bygones" And that "life isn't dair!" and do nothing about it. the manager completely lied about it, and other incidents of harassment directed to the former disabled employee. gas lighting them to take all the blame so the manager would avoid any responsibility. This former employee filed a case with the Utah Labor Commission and the EEOC which is still in litigation as of 2026. another former employee saw the manager talking with employees about private medical information about this employees disabilities. another employee who was discovered smoking weed in the restaurants bathroom while at work in the Layton store and would come to work under the influence on several occasions. That employee is now charged with a crime as of February 2026 for threatening this former employee about what the manager told them about the case. The owners Matt and Jake Thompson continued to look the other way of the managers despicable lies about the former employee and believe these despicable lies. the owner Matt Thompson verbally harassed and retaliated against this employee calling them " the worst person they have ever met" and is recorded in a lengthy phone call. the Utah Labor Commission and EEOC case is ongoing and will continue through June 2026 potentially further. the owners need to be held accountable for disability discrimination retaliation and harm caused by the Layton store manager.“

“Good place to eat, the food is great, and the staff is kind, the tables are always clean and the floor, the kitchen is wide open, no walls blocking it, you can see how they make the food while you wait, again great place to eat in.

“Food is always good, but the system here is terrible. You have 10 people waiting in line. All of their food is ready to go sitting on the tray, but the workers won't allow people to grab their food because it's against policy even though their name has been called. I get that they are stressed and they're busy but you gotta figure out a better system so the people can just grab their food once they see their pizza. Maybe some sort of kiosk that they can scan to grab their food out once it's ready or just put it in a place that people can grab it. But some people are just patiently standing there in line for an hour while their food is sitting on the tray and they can't go access it because nobody is helping because they are too busy making pizzas. It's a good problem to have but you need to have like one person that's dedicated to handing out pizzas or something.
