“My husband Matt L. Is a waiter and we dined in yesterday on day off it was good even sitting by managers family which she focused on. Matt L. Went to work the next day and fired due to a review 6 days ago when customer said he was kind. Managers no where around and bartender not doing his job. There are a few things we will be bringing to light about Applebee's in Layton.“

“As we recently moved to Ogden area, we were looking for a good Philadelphia style sandwich shop - and today we've found it! The sandwich is really tasty - with a lot of meat, vegetables and cheese on your choice. Everything is fresh! Their French fries are yummy too. We also like the friendly people who work there and who provided us a great service. Moreover, it's a LOCAL BUSINESS which we always support. Highly recommending!“

“All things considered, Needles Lodge deserves a 5/5. The ambiance was great, and the food was even better. So many options to choose from, with multiple stations that made your dish on the spot (omelettes, waffles, etc.). The price is steep, but the experience was well worth it in my opinion.“

“We always stay at Ogden Hilton Garden Inn when traveling to Texas. The food is fantastic and the service is exceptional. Our favorite servers are Andrea and Cathy.

It reminds me of the old Weber Club in the early 90s...a place where you just want to be. We'll definitely be repeat visitors.“

“This is a favorite place to grab a quick meal that is delicious and affordable. I had the Hawaiian Teriyaki with island mac, steamed veggies, and grilled chicken. YUM! My daughter and I liked it so much we ate there twice this week. I like that you can make your own bowls how you like and the staff is very friendly. They want the customers to be happy with the food and service and we are! The place is clean and quiet where you can actually carry on a conversation without being drowned out by loud music like some restaurants.“

“Beautiful location, quick service, and wonderful food. We loved being able to walk by the river - it feels like an escape, even though you're close to major amenities. The best part, though, was Brenda! She chatted with us and shared the history of the lodge. She was so kind and welcoming - you can tell she really has a heart for the place. We felt very welcomed by her...it was one of those conversations that made you feel uplifted.

Today we just came for brunch, but we will absolutely be booking a room here in the future! Rates are reasonable, breakfast is awesome, and the location is beautiful.

“Earl's Lodge at Snowbasin is literally the most amazing ski lodge that we've all ever stepped foot in. I've been to many ski lodges over the years and have never seen anything like this one! It is stunningly beautiful inside and a MUST visit if you are skiing Snowbasin. The food is solid here as well, a true luxury experience!“

The only negative, which isn't the restaurant's fault, three different tables had young, unruly children that really made it impossible to enjoy your meal. Almost as if the parents at one table saw the parents at the other tables not trying to calm their children down, so they just let the child scream...
The restaurant was quite busy and loud, which is expected on the weekend at a good cafe.“

“Nielsen's has the best frozen custard. The store in Layton is hard to spot at the turn in from Main Street and the atmosphere is mediocre. The shop in North Ogden is much better for the fun 60s vibe. We're just glad we don't have to go to Bountiful to get our favorite frozen custard like we used to.“

“Let’s be honest this is an old diner and it’s outdated inside, bathrooms need to be cleaned better and there are bits and bobs that should be fixed including some of the coffee cups they have.

That being said, the service is fast and the food is not only delicious, but also reasonably priced. Especially in this economy. For these reasons I’ll give this place 5 stars.“

“We stop by whenever we are in town from Phoenix and love the burgers! I have a serious gluten allergy and have zero trouble eating here. The fries are in a shared fryer, so I don’t get them. Their grilled chicken sandwich on a gf bun is fantastic. I’m impressed with their bun. The rest of the family is happy and grandpa ALWAYS gets a strawberry shake

Very comfortable booths and clean tables.
Limited menu so you can be assured that anything you order is going to be really good.
I had the Country biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and hash browns. Everything was very good.
My waitress came and checked on me several times which I appreciated.

“My wife and I stopped in here over the weekend and we're pleasantly surprised with this place. The atmosphere was great and it was kept very clean. Service was quick and welcoming.

The food was very good. I am a bit of a burger and fry snob. The burgers here were very good and I would give them an 8 out of 10. They clearly use fresh local ingredients and have good quality control.
The fries were quite unique and also receive and 8 out of 10.

“The table we were sitting at wasn't cleaned off all the way and the floor underneath was covered in food. Gross. We had to ask the waitress to clean off the table again. The steak was excellent, but the baked potato was under cooked and still very firm.“
