This little Midvale old town joint was called El Portal de Zacatecas few years back, name had changed, but the operation remains to be the same. Wow, I think I just found another favorite Mexican restaurant. And guess what? It is cheap too! So I read all reviews about this restaurant. Everyone is saying this place is very authentic. Well, I am Asian. I don't know what's "authentic" Mexican food is. I only have been in Mexico for one day. And guess what? I had MacDonald! The bad reviews: food poison and not authentic enough....? I love this place. They always greet you with a nice warm welcome. I would recommend their elotes best I have ever had. They are really good at what they do and they are pretty friendly.
