Knowing we were going through Salt Lake on vacation we just had to stop and taste for ourselves. Wow, is an understatement. Everything from the wonderful salad, the most amazing Brussels sprouts on earth to an even better New Zealand Elk steak and our server Sara was an amazing experience I wish everyone could partake. “One of my favorite new spots in Salt Lake! Bar a Vin offers such a unique concept and allows you to try pre curated flights of so many wines. As someone who likes wine but never had any idea of which ones I liked best, this was a great way to expose myself to a variety of ones at once. On top of that, food was amazing - the Italian sushi is delicious and so fun. Truly a great experience all around. I can't wait to go back!“

“Amazing experience. We did the seven-course tasting menu with some in-season soft drinks. The mushroom curry dish completely knocked my socks off, definitely my favorite. All the flavor combos were incredibly fresh. Amazing upside down apple cake at the end. The service was exceptional, great atmosphere and nice bathrooms. Didn’t hurt that there was a sick rainstorm happening while we were there—overall definitely one of the coolest restaurant experiences I’ve had. 10/10!“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

I don't like beer but the wine selection is good, however I had the raspberry chocolate martinis which are awesome! Although I was not able to go, they did host a BINGO night wherein you could win cash money.“

The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully presented. To top it off, they surprised us with a free dessert for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch.
